Food is full international as sell many thai dishes and also pizzas, mexican, european, german, italian etc.Best Thai food ive eaten and steak was also superb.
Prices are unbelievably good.
Ambience is relaxed outside dining european style as you watch the world go by at the outside tables near the popular Grand night market. They also have air condtion inside but most sit outside and is very busy at 7.30 to 9pm so be aware you may have to sit inside if no room outside.
What makes it special is the food is superb especially for the price and it feels very relaxed, staff are great and atmosphere is very friendly, i went back there everyday i stayed in Hua Hin
Favorite Dish: So many but can recommend the steak as was soft and for the price they must make no profit!!
all the thai curries/soups ..green curry, tom kha gai etc were so delicious i ate the lot and was 70 Bt.
Mexican Fajitas was good value........chicken came out sizzling on a hot plate with fajita wraps that you fill with side salad, sour cream, salsa sauce.

I want to start off by saying that I am one of the Owners. I opened Margaritas after living 1 1/2 years in asia and not finding any REAL Mexican food. Every time I saw a Mexican restaurant, I would run in, mouth watering with hopes of getting a taste of back home, but instead would get TEX-MEX or CAL-MEX (American Versions of Mexican Food). So my goal began to supply Asia with Real Mexican Food.
The plans was simple; Provide customers with Fresh home-made style Mexican Food, a confortable atmosphere representative of Mexico, give outstanding service, and all of this with an affordable Price tag. A plan that was easier said than done but after 6 months of opening, I think the mission has been accomplished. We get a lot of return customers, we have been ranked #1 in Tripadvisor.com by customers (Over 20 Positive customer reviews) and are always getting compliments from our guest.
This is not a place where you will find Chimichangas, or sour cream, or chilli con carne,, Thats because I try to stay authentic to the food I would eat in Mexico. But you will find freshly home made flour tortillas and corn tortillas, salsas made daily, and our own home-style refried beans.
And I should also mention the BEST MARGARITAS (in my opinion) in all of Asia. Some of our most popular plates are our Huge BURRITOS, Nachos, Taquitos, and Quesadillas, but we also serve more traditional Mexican plates like Shrimp Ranchero, Fish Veracruzana, Picadillo, or Fish "a la Diabla"
Favorite Dish: My favorite plate on the menu is the "Pescado Veracruzana" (Fish Veracurz Style) . Its a large dory fish steak, wich is a white meaty fish with no bones, grilled in our home made salsa, and toped of with grilled Pico De Gallo (tomatos, onions, coriander, pepers) , black and green olives, and capers. It is served with a side of refried beans, and freshly made corn tortillas. I eat that with one of our "Original Margaritas", made on the rocks, with Sauza Gold Tequila.

Now in their 15th year of business, it’s quite apparent that the owners of Ye Olde Buffalo tavern are doing everything right. They have a very unique and convenient location that also allows for stunning views of sea. From their front door, a few steps one way leads you right into the heart of the downtown Hua Hin district, while the other direction leads you into a bustling Thai fishing district. Ye Olde Buffalo Tavern isn’t just a place for perfectly made English and Thai food; they also have beautifully furnished luxury suites available, each with breathtaking sea and mountain views.
Upon first entering Ye Olde Buffalo tavern (more commonly referred to as Buffalo Bill’s, after the owner, Bill), what struck me most was how much it resembled a tavern back home. The seating is spacious and comfortable and the décor is true to what a proper tavern ought to be. After taking a closer look, I couldn’t help but notice how impeccably clean every surface is. In addition to the full-bar and menu, Buffalo Bill’s also has free Wi-Fi throughout and a massive book and DVD library. Bill and Lorraine couldn’t be more helpful and genuinely honest people. They also have two young children, Harry and Georgia, who are not only as polite and friendly as their parents, but can also be of great help if you need assistance with the Thai language. The wait staff is friendly and attentive, but not intrusive.
The list of great meals at Buffalo Bill’s is as long as his menu. They have a wide selection of English favorites available. From the full English breakfast to the Sunday Roasts (which are also available Monday through Saturday) and everything in between; each meal is prepared with the finest ingredients available, in a portion that fills even the hungriest belly, and all at very reasonable prices. There is also a Thai menu that is prepared to an equal standard. Many Thais are pleasantly surprised to have such delicious food served in what they would consider a ‘foreign restaurant.’
I tried what I thought would be a standard for any English menu, the fish & chips. I was more than surprised when I was served a full meal and not just the simple pieces of whitefish and chips I’d expected. The fish fillet was perfectly cooked and would have been more than I could finish if it weren’t so good. Bill’s chips had already gotten me addicted some time back and easily rank with the best in town. Complete with sides of mushy peas, tartar sauce, pickled onion and gherkin; it was indeed a full meal. Helping all this down is what I find to be the perfect drink for most any meal but especially the Thai climate; a proper English cider. To top it off, I couldn’t resist Bill’s awesome bread & butter pudding.
Bill and Lorraine’s brilliant work doesn’t just stay in the kitchen, either. They also have luxury suites available on the top floors of their building. These suites are more spacious than many four and five star resorts I’ve stayed at. The furnishings aren’t just pieces thrown into the room either. Fully upholstered chairs and sofas, gorgeous king-sized sleigh beds, air conditioning and ceiling fan, en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet, in-room safe,
hairdryer, iron, ironing board, mini-bar & fridge, tea & coffee, flat screen TV with full satellite international film and sports package, DVD player, film and book library, free wireless internet connection, daily maid and laundry service, and room service until 9.30pm. While that certainly is more than most other hotels offer, they aren’t done yet. Each room also has the added luxury of a huge terrace, complete with table, chairs, sun loungers, cushions and a shaded sala area with day bed. The icing on this cake is the unparalleled sea view that dominates each room, complete with those perfect sea breezes.
Ye Olde Buffalo Tavern truly excels in all of their endeavors. With a menu that’s guaranteed to please and rooms available that might be the best you’ll ever visit, there’s no reason not to stop in to see for yourself. Bill also mentioned that Buffalo Bill's is open for weddings, christenings, Bar mitzvahs, funerals and hangings.
Further information: Ye Olde Buffalo tavern is on the corner of Chomsin Road (Soi 55) and Naresdamri Road, across the street from the fishing pier.

Favorite Dish: I'm afraid to say (boring me) my favourite is their homemade fries (chips) unavailable anywhere ells in town with salt and malt vinegar, I just get a craving.

During our whole ugly stay in Hua Hin, this place is a diamond in the rough. Cooled by multiple oscilating fans, the atmosphere here is relatively friendly and the food is delicious. This restaurant, if you can find it, makes a terrific spot for a rest and an easy lunch. If by chance you are living abroad and want a change in diet, this spot may provide you with a welcome alternative. I do love Thai food, don't get me wrong, but everyone likes a change once in a while and a varied diet is a healthy one.
Favorite Dish: I had a pizza with fresh mozzarella and anchovies. Delicious.

Hua Hin is famed for its delightful fresh seafood which can be found in abundance at the Night Market, where there are plenty of seafood restaurants that line the street. I found these restaurants to be cheaper than the ones closer to the beach.

This is a pizza chain that's located along the main road that runs through Hua Hin that you can find all over Thailand that's very similar to a Pizza Hut or a Dominos in the west - in fact there's a Pizza Hut right next door to it! I filled myself up with a few of their pizzas during my travels around Thailand as it was nice to take a break from rice and noodles once in a while. They do pan crust, crispy crust, cheese crust pizza types with a large range of toppings and combo meals.

Maharaja's is an Indian chain of restaurants and this was the third one I went to in Thailand. I had been to one in Chiang Rai where the food was terrible - so bad, in fact, that I simply walked out. This place, however, was in complete contrast and, unlike the one in Chiang Rai, was run by Indians - which is one of the things to look out for whenever you visit an Indian restaurant. Anyway, the food was very good with dishes that we have in the west such as tandoori chicken, kebabs, chicken tikka masala, jalfreizi, vindaloo, roghan josh etc and fairly well priced - certainly cheaper than back home but not as well priced as other Indian restaurants in Thailand. The interior is very nice with lots of mirrors and paintings.

Outside of the tourist center and the beachfront area, there are still some good finds to be made. One such place I was introduced to by my friends was Fahsai Restaurant. They have both Thai and western foods on the menu at very reasonable prices.
The restaurant is open air, but covered from the rain. The presentation is modest, but the portions are just right, and the flavor is good. They are open 10a~10p every day.
Favorite Dish: Green curry was awesome. Chicken & cashews also fantastic. Also wide noodle with vegetables was delicious.
