Claimed to be Hua Hin's most colorful nightly attraction. Every evening throngs of visitors stroll around and enjoy a wide variety of Thai food, most notably the freshly caught seafood dishes. In addition, there are many stalls offering a wide array of souvenirs. Not all that big, but provides a cool, vibrant nighttime atmosphere.

Quick tip: Most of these same souvenirs are also sold at the Chatuchak Weekend Market for cheaper. If possible, check it out before buying anything in Hua Hin.

Well the night markets are excellent as you can really get very good bargained prices for a lot of things especially the wood works, shoes, bags... The prices here is much cheaper compared to Bangkok.. Hence i tend to buy quite a fair bit while i'm here :-)

Food in Hua Hin night market

Night markets are commonplace in Asia. If you are not familiar with the concept, consider a normal open-air market that has been moved to evening and night. The stalls open after dark and the market keep going strong to the wee hours.

Hua Hin's lively night market is running every night on Decha Nuchit Road, nearby the clock tower in the centre. There are hundreds of small stalls, selling food, memorabilia, local craft and a lot of fake products. The prices are low, but you can still try and bargain.

The food is excellent, just remember to check that also local people buy stuff from the vendor.

I didn't like the nightmarket very much. It is way too touristic and especially the surrounding streets are taken by mass tourism. But of course, it stays a good place to try some Thai food, buy very cheap shirts or just have a drink and watch life go by.

    Grilled seafood

Visit the night market and Chatchai for fresh seafood that's really cheap. Whether you're on a budget or not, it's a good place for sampling local food.
