There are a number of bars that open and soon close. They might be good for a while but it doesn't last. Patrons are usually very young.
The main nightlife is the night markets. There is one at the Sakaew traffic circle and another downtown along the train tracks. There are also lots of restaurants where you can sit and linger over dinner.
Dress Code: At the night markets? Pajamas! People go home after work or school, shower, change into PJs and then go to the night market or somewhere to eat. Very interesting choice of clothing.

There isn't much to do in the evenings here but I found this curb side bar that's run by the Noon Guesthouse and got talking to a few foreign guys who live in town.
