The long running Tex / Mex food dishes offered as a in a good old traditional English Pub fare, the restaurant has great atmosphere ...
Located on the lower end of the huge garden of the "Amari Orchid Resor"t where it meets the famous Beach Road, is the entrance of the H.J Beans.
Great live music as having dinner, service is fast and reliable, prices are ok concerning the tasty food you get.
Might be full due to some group offers of the hotel, so I advise you to make a pre-bookng before you go, enjoy ... :)

Favorite Dish: The Margherita 99 Baht make your own pizza with many toppings to choose from
This diner is on the very edge of the Walking Street entrance from Beach Rd. I have tried to do an engine search of address, website and phone number, but came up with nothing. Anyway, it's called Walking Street Food Court. What is great about this place is that it has a no frills environment. Good ole fashioned burgers, club sandwiches, (which is what I had and was delicious) fries, malts, etc. So in case you are from the U.S. like myself and are craving a bit of the greasy spoon, this place is perfect and the staff has those wonderful thai smiles.
The Pattaya Beer Garden is set at the end of a large pier near the entrance to Walking Street. It has an unparallelled view across the bay. The view and the ambiance alone make this a great place to visit and as it is also a bar you can have just a beer or a cocktail and watch the spectacular sunsets.
If you decide to eat you won't be disappointed. This is not a five star restaurant but the food is good, presentation simple but effective and most importantly the prices are very very reasonable. There is an extensive menu of Western and Thai food as well as snacks and ice cream deserts. We ate here many times during our visit and we never had a bad meal. Helpings are large (perhaps to large) and prices start at around 100 baht for a Thai meal and 150 baht for a western meal.
Although this place is always busy, they do not take reservations. It is so large however that we always found a table although sometimes we could not get the best seats on the balcony, over the water.
Overall I'd rate this the best, reasonably priced restaurant in Pattaya.
Favorite Dish: I liked the Chicken with Cashew Nuts and Penang Curry on the Asian Menu. They are not too spicy and hit the spot for me every time. For Western food you can't beat the Filet Mignon. Made with imported New Zealand steak which was very tender and delicious. I don't usually recommend steak in Thailand as the local beef is always tough and stringy but the Beer Garden is a delightful exception.
Want to try something different in Southeast Asian food, but can't figure out the menu or afraid you won't get waht you really wanted, here is a way to do that.
The Food Wave is in the top floor of Royal Garden in Pattaya. It consists of a half dozen or so different theme kitchens. You can choose from Thai, Issan Thai, Vietnamese, Hong Kong, and several others. They have a beverage, juice, beer, coke place, and a desert kitchen. There are examples of all the dishes at each small kitchen. All you have to do is point and enjoy. Someone will make the dish and bring it to your table as you enjoy the view of Pattaya beach from the top of Royal Plaza.
Favorite Dish: I had the red curry beef last time and it was quite good.
The restaurant decor is very nice. The food doesn't taste that good. We ordered seaweed salad and it taste very salty and they mix it with something else that is not seaweed, for the price you should get pure seaweed. The salmon kimchi soup we ordered is unbeliveably salty and has just 3 small pieces of salmon which looked like the parts that they might want to throw away in the garbage if nobody order, they where just corners with lots of skin. The sirloin and pork we ordered for bbq was too small for 250 baht each and doesn't taste good, it was dry. The orange juice is just some kind of orange syrub mix with water. The total for this dinner is 850 baht include 75 baht service charge and we are still hungry and not satisfied. Summary: We won't come back again!
If you want to eat Japanese food don't go there. There are many other choices, like Fuji or drive to sriracha to the japanese area close to Robinson Mall. This Kabuto restaurant doesn't even have sushi and most of the food here looks like Korean food. For a price of 850 baht for two with no alcohol, I would expect more than this!
Favorite Dish: Only the steamed rice was good.
Tequila Reef has some of the best food I've had in Pattaya. They have a wonderful selection of Mexican food along with some the best Bar-B-Q Ribs I've ever had. I must have eaten there about 10 times during my stay and the food was good every time. The staff is friendly and quick to take your order. The inside is decked out with an authentic Mexican theme complete with some excellent frozen margaritas. Don't forget to ask for a special "Hand Shaken" margarita specially prepared by one of their lovely waitresses. The location is very centralized close to all the action and just a 30 second walk to the beach. I also liked to sit outside on their porch and watch the tourists go by.
Favorite Dish: The Bar-B-Q Pork ribs just fall off the bone. Their East LA Burrito is super huge and absolutely wonderful along with their selection of hot sauces direct from Mexico and the US. The 3 item Mexican combo plate was enormous as I had to take a large part of it back to my hotel which I had for a snack later that evening.
There are many Middle Eastern Restaurants in South Pattaya: Arabic restaurants, Iranian restaurants, Indian restaurants, Turkish restaurants and more. Among Iranian restaurants, I can mention Alburz restaurant off beach road, near Lek hotel. The food is not bad but its expensive. The second one is Madaen restaurant in South Pattaya in front of Marine Hotel. They have music during lunch and dinner time. The food is excellent and the price is reasonable. I think it’s the best Iranian restaurant in Pattaya where you find authentic Iranian food reasonably priced. The manager's name is Reza and he's polite and friendly.
Favorite Dish: They have one dish called 'Murg Zaresh', and its chicken marinated in tomato sauce with Persian herbs. Delicious.
Maharaja's is an Indian chain of restaurants and this was the second one I went to in Thailand. I had been to one in Chiang Rai where the food was terrible - so bad, in fact, that I simply walked out. This place, however, was in complete contrast and, unlike the one in Chiang Rai, was run by and frequented by Indians - which is one of the things to look out for whenever you visit an Indian restaurant. Anyway, the food was very good with dishes that we have in the west such as tandoori chicken, kebabs, chicken tikka masala, jalfreizi, vindaloo, roghan josh etc and fairly well priced - certainly cheaper than back home but not as well priced as other Indian restaurants in Thailand. The interior is very nice with lots of mirrors and paintings.
This is a pizza chain that's located outside the Royal Garden Plaza that you can find all over Thailand that's very similar to a Pizza Hut or a Dominos in the west. I filled myself up with a few of their pizzas during my travels around Thailand as it was nice to take a break from rice and noodles once in a while. They do pan crust, crispy crust, cheese crust pizza types with a large range of toppings and combo meals. For desert, you can go upstairs to Swensons Ice Cream which I highly recommend.
I came here every morning for breakfast of 2 eggs, toast, sausage, tea/coffee for 78 baht while other places do the same sort of thing for about 100 baht. The menu also includes plenty of English food such as lamb chops, mixed grills, and fish and chips but there is a reasonable amount of choice in the Thai department such as Laab Moo (spicy pork salad, 65 baht), sautéed mix of fried vegetables (45 baht), penang chicken curry (85 baht) and rice (10 baht).
This restaurant was part of my hotel (The Max Hotel - see my accommodation tip) and I normally have a rule about not eating dinner where I'm staying as I like to spend my money elsewhere as the hotel has already had some of my money! Anyway, I looked at the pizzas that some of the other people were eating and they looked good so I decided to go against my rule and have one. And I'm glad I did because it was very good. The restaurant is owned and operated by Ermanno from Italy and his wife Ning, who spent many years in Italy learning the business of cooking Italian cuisine, so you can rest assured that they know what they're doing.
This is the best steakhouse i have found in Thailand.
Steaks are very good and in every size you want.
Biggest on menucard are 1 kg. :)
Thai food are good to - my girlfriend did like it very much...
Favorite Dish: Barbequed Tenderloin. It was very tasty :)
Siam Elephant Restaurant is at the very end of walking street, just far enough away from the neon lights and crowded pedestrian area that it has a very quiet and secluded feel to it. There is outdoor patio seating with over head fans, or indoor seating with A/C.
The tables are adorned with linens and nice silverware. The staff speaks various levels of English, but thankfully the menus are in English and fairly easy to understand. We split several appetizers and entrees and enjoyed them all. It was actually a shame that did not find this place earlier!
Favorite Dish: Believe it or not, the fried salmon was delicious! It was so good that even our friend who confessed to hating fish his entire life went back for second helpings!!
There were several dishes to choose from. The mixed seafood noodles were also wonderful. All of the appetizers were finger licking good!
