Mike Shopping Mall, Pattaya
Shame that mikes has gone down hill. My wife and I I recimave been visiting mikes for 5years and things have definitely taken a downwards turn. After paying 200baht (£4) to go into the pool area we we only to find dirty water in the pool and beer bottles every where you looked. The food we ordered turned up wrong (turned out to be another couples who had already left) we our food did arrive it was all cold.. I can't eat cold beef or pork etc so it was left (another 400baht)
If your standards are low and your pockets are deep I recommend going as the view from the 10th floor is wow! For sun bathing and a drink it fine but you still have to pay the full amount to enter the pool area.
Shopping in the mall is OK but beware that not all goods are genuine although the vendor will assure you that they are. Much better shopping and swimming options within walking distance.

This is my kind of mall! since it is my namesake! Besides being the Biggest Mall in Pattaya, you can also haggle among the small stalls inside on all the souvenirs that you want whether T-Shirts, beach wear, trinkets, key chains and the like. The ground floor consists of a small supermarket, pharmacy, ice cream parlor, as well as money changers and various shops and kiosks selling clothes and locally manufactured goods. The upper floors house the actual Mike Department Store (no haggling in the department store), with a food court and a public swimming pool occupying the top floor and roof, respectively. The front entrance facing Beach Road features an open air beer garden and bandstand for the occasional live band.
Opens Daily at 11:00 AM until 11:00 PM
What to buy: depends really on your haggling skills. T-shirt they sell at 150 baht (i bought it at 90 after much haggling), keychains at 30 baht (the haggling price) and assorted knock offs. The department store houses original brands.
What to pay: depends on your haggling skills
Mike shopping mall sell clothings for both male /female.
This building is relatively old already, and looks that its going to collapse soon..haha
Outside the mall, there a lot of stalls selling foods and fruits. the fruits looks very fresh and nice.
What to buy: Cheaps clothings, but still not as cheap as Bangkok.
Mike Shopping Mall, located on Beach Road Pattaya (in the southern end), there are plenty stores to choose and buy whatever you need, albeit clothing, jewellery, souveniers, etc.
It's quite cheap compared to Western Countries, but there are cheaper places to shop which are away from any mall in Pattaya.
The mall is open from 11am to 11pm daily, so you always have plenty of time to buy buy buy!
We shopped with Royal Garden Plaza and my brother told us to go to Mike Shopping Mall (all AC). I didn't hear the name that well, so we went for Mike Soppy, thinking it was a little fun shop. Nope, Mike Shopping Mall is a 5 floors department store with a lot of junk not that fancy. Every floor has it own sellings, and the sellers really do their best to get some attention. For sure you may find something, there is plenty to buy, with some surprises, too.
What to buy: You do know it is fake, though sometimes you've seen something you cannot find again. Well, at Mike SHopping Mall I got lucky to find several things I was looking for (seen in Bangkok). Even between all of the junk stuff ... hooray!
And go for a great snack or bite on the 5th floor. Try the traditional Thai cuisine. Make your choise from the pictures on the wall... worth a try!
What to pay: 200 Baht for a t-shirt I looked for,... that is a surprise, hahaha ... and 500 Baht for a Diesel jeans... it is a joke!
This large dpt store offer everything, open at 11.00 A.M, it have a pool too on the 10th floor and a snooker club too on the third floor. Quiet on the day, full of asians at night.
What to buy: clothes. food.
What to pay: less than other shops
First, I have to say that people who go to Pattaya are definitely not the most enthusiastic shoppers in my opinion. That's because there are no good chances to get real shopping experience.
We went to the Mike Shopping Mall which was old, tiny and bargain-oriented. Where ever you go in Pattaya there's always people selling t-shirts and sunglasses. That place wasn't an exception.
Opening Hours : 11:00 - 23:00 Everyday
