The diving in Thailand is spectacular.
Warm water, great visibility, and a large variety of things to see.
Equipment: Rent from Siam Divers. Great instructors and rates, a good place to take your Openwater and learn what you are doing.

We spent a very interesting and enjoyable day on 75 foot (23 meter) luxury boat touring, fishing and swimming around the beautiful islands of the Pattaya coast.
Why it was so special was because the boat was so clean and well run up to European standards, we found the crew to be very knowledgeable and helpful with regard to good fishing sites and safe swimming area’s, all the fishing equipment, bait and snorkeling equipment was provided free for our enjoyment.
It was surprisingly cheap considering the size of the boat, the service and the full day’s enjoyment we got from our trip.
We can highly recommend chartering this boat for day trips or longer overnight trips.
The Thai food they served from thier sea food menu on board had a splendid variety of different tasty dishes, all the ice for keeping our drinks cool in the insulated ice boxes and the bottled drinking water was provided free of charge.
We brought with us some of our favorite music CD’s as the boat has a very good music system.
This boat also offers evening cruises during which you can try your hand at squid fishing; the squid are plentiful and delicious when cooked on the open BBQ by the crew.
The most memorable day of our visit to Pattaya Thailand.
Equipment: If you wish to dive there are local suppliers who can provide you with all the necessary equipment.
A good tip in hot weather is to bring along a soft hat, sunglasses and some sun block.

If you're looking for some active activities in Pattaya, why not go jet skiing. It costs you 500-600THB to jet ski for 30 mins.
I suggest you go to Jomtien beach cos the water is a little bit cleaner.

Popular sea activity from 11am to 5pm, especially weekends. Parasailing = parachute sailing. Fun to do but shortlived. 100 baht for one round the big ship where you take off from, on a speedboat. Speedboater will try dunking you into the sea once you reached the highest point.
Equipment: Parachute, harness, life jackets, and training all provided. Just bring along your money and sense of adventure.

Wow... the waves are big.
And the winds are so strong.
Saw a lot of people windsurfing and also para-surfing.
You're hooked up to a chute like a big kite and you wear skis, using the control bar, you catch the wind and surf the waves!
Looks like great fun and there are places that offer lessons if you're interested.

Mermaids s the only PADI 5 Star dive centre in Pattaya. Every day, you have the choice of regular dive sites or wreck diving.
The diving in and around Pattaya isn't brilliant due to the low visibility. Apart from that, if you chose Mermaids, everything else is first class.
As well as recreational diving, they offer training and equipment repairs. All services and prices are on their website.
If you are diving in Pattaya, you should definitely consider Mermaids.
Equipment: I can't comment about their rental gear as I took my own but if it's to the same standard of everything else in Mermaids, then there will be no problems renting from them.

The possibilities for watersports activities like bananaboat, parachutes, jet-skis and speedboats are great. Be prepared for beach sellers asking you to join them.
