 The jetski's pass very fast

But over here the sea is very polluted by the many boats.
But it is also very dangerous to go swimming over here. As there are many jetski's for rent and sometimes these jetski's pass very, very fast at small distance of the beach.
So if you are swimming there is the danger of being hit by a passing jetski. And I believe that this is not such a nice experience.
There for I believe it is better to go to Jomtein Beach, which can easily be reached with a taxi. Leave a Comment

As mostly these vehicles do not have insurance. And when you get involved in an accident, you will pay for all the damages regardless if you are right or wrong. It is always that way, as Thai Police will always take the side of their follow countrymen over you in dispute.
Also show respect for the Thai Police as rude talk and/or shouting should be avoided in every case, guilty or not. Thai Police officers have much greater powers of action than for example their European counterparts and will not accept disrespectful behaviour.
Also check your vehicle for damage before you start, otherwise you might have to pay for damages you did not cause. Leave a Comment

Nah it's not THAT bad. It takes just a few seconds to have each one gone. They dont really stay bugging you for a long time. Simply say "no, thank you" or shake your head is good enough.
Or you can pretend to focus on your readings and not hear whatever gets through your ears. Oh, another good one is just sleep.

Some tour packages contain Pattaya, a city about 2 hours from Bangkok. Pattaya has long beaches and close to coral islands. Daytime it seems like a beautiful holiday resort. But it converts to a different atmosphere at night. Most of cities in the world are a bit dangerous for ladies late night. On the contrary men have to be careful against crowded shemales along the main street in Pattaya. I have never heard a bad news about tourists there, anyway they behave agressively sometimes. That's why it is strange to see people (tourists ofcourse ...) touching the head for some luck of the famous fat Buddha statues. Mostly located in museums these images can be in parks, too. I saw locals do touch the feet, or his belly and, preferred to do the same. I really do not know where the luck will come from ... ;-) Leave a Comment

Beware of druggings in Soi Pattayaland 2. The streets there are populated by drug dealers selling Ya-Ba and their girlfriends working in the Go-Go bars are in possession of this drug.
Currently, there is a struggle between rival drug gangs in this area fighting for control of Sales and distribution. Often, the Thai drug dealers are armed.
Your newly found 'friend' in this area may be in possession of a class 1 substance. You could be implicated by the Thai authority if you associate with these girls, or any Bar Owners in this area.

Earlier in one of my other tips I mentioned that this town isn't excatly thrilling for a female. I cannot stress this enough and after watching a documentary about men coming to meet woman that they hardly knew and marrying them a few days later, shows how desperate some of these guys can get.
If you are a bloke use you bloody common sense, this girl that seems to sweep you off your feet with all your charms is perhaps only using you. She has often got family she is supporting and that can include Mum, Dad, baby, husband (did I say husband) yeah she is probably married.... to think of. Get to know this girl for goodness sakes before signing on the dotted line after you say I do. Spend time with her away from the bars, take her away from her local scene for awhile and really do some research on her and play it safe in the bedroom. Be sure she is telling the truth about her age as there are alot of child prosititutes around Pattaya now.
If you are girl look out too, sometimes there may be the odd occasional Thai guy looking for a western mate, yeah its a little rare but it can happen. Again they too may have a family to support so look out for everything and use your common sense.
Be careful, be wise and be cautious and although Pattaya is a great place to shop, its not a great place if you end up with a hole in your pocket or wind up with someone that took your fancy for a couple of days and then you end up spending the rest of your life paying money to the folks back home. Thailand is still a great place to visit and don't let me put you off coming here but really and truly think about what you are doing while you are there.
