The walk up the Khao Wang hill is very strenuous so a funicular has been installed to whisk you up. You can take it from the western side of the hill which is on the opposite side from the town centre. The funicular is part of a rather expensive ticket that includes the royal palace.

To get to Khao Wang Palace quickly there is a cable car service ( 8:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.). The fares which include the admission fee to visit the museum are 50 baht for adults and 30 baht for children.
