Andy's Seafood: Great Seafood Restaurant in Bangsaen!
by learningcurvasia
If you are looking for a great place to eat fresh Thai Seafood in Bangsaen then definately check this place out, its quite small (up to 10 tables usually) but gets really busy,is popular with local (Thai) and westerners, as the owner "Andy" speaks about 5 languages and is really helpful with regards to accommodation, bike and motorbike rentals, local info (as the information center cant even speak English, or have any English language material- Thai only!) He even fixed my laptop! The food was excellent, really fresh and well cooked by his wife "Nid".The staff were really friendly and attentive. The restaurant is open-air and facing the beach, so you can just walk 15-20 meters and be in the sea! It's right next to an ATM and in front of a 7-11 mini-market.

Rabieng Guest House Restaurant: Phetchaburi: Rabieng Guest House Restaurant
by Myndo
The Rabieng Guest House Restaurant is not so easy to find, I guess. located at the River at a bridge (Chisa Road crosses there). It was very recommended by my guide book. And it was worth the searching and looking for a parking space. The restaurant has a wonderful view on the river (we watched a big leguan get out of the water when we were there). The Menue is a "must-see", too. I think I have never seen so many items on a restaurant menue. And they did have all (at least the 4 dishes we choose). They have Thai dishes, Seafood and continental food as well. They also have such unusual things as serpent soup, cat fish salad etc. No I did not have that. The guesthouse does also offer Eco-tours in the National Park close by.They looked really good, too. But it took more time than we had, then.
Sour sweet soup with prawns and thai basilikum, palm heart soup.
Siam Restaurant: Ayutthaya: Vietnamese in front of the Temples
by Myndo
Siam Restaurant is a Thai / Vietnamese Restaurant, located right opposite the entrance to the Wat Mahathat at the Rama Park in Ayutthaya. (that is the east side of the park)The very friendly waitress was a little surprised, when we said, we would like to try the vietnamese dishes she had on the menue. They turned out to be marvelous, too.
Chicken grilled on sugar cane sticks, glass noodles on a bed of fresh herbs.Another dish was a "do it yourself", you get all the ingredients: meat, fresh herbs, vegetables, etc. and thin layers of dough in which you can roll the things yourself. Delicious, if a little time consuming.
Hard Rock Cafe
by victorwkf
Should be more or less the same as other Hard Rock Cafe if you love the same sort of food .....
I did not actually try the food here but I bought some sourveniers for collection. Reason is due to lack of time and I have eaten at other Hard Rock Cafe in other parts of the world.
