The Wat Arun is one of the most famous landmark in Bangkok. It is a magnificient temple along the North-Western bank of the Chao Phraya River, and is extremely beautiful during dawn when the sun sets.
This would have to be one of the most beautiful temples that I visited. I took a city and temple tour and it was an excellent experience visiting many temples royal palace and a gemstone factory.

Climb up Golden Mount and take a look at aerial view of bangkok city. Not a difficult climb and easy with stairs.
Ayuthaya is about 1 hour north of Bangkok, and it contains many ancient temples and monuments. More photos are at th travelogue section of this VT page.
A must see for BKK. 2 hrs journey away from Krung Theep. You can go by Bus on yr own or take package from Khao San Road [abt 100plus baht].
That is the nice place for interesting to see .Just reccomment that on the evening

This is a place with history from World War II.The bridge was bombed in 1945 and rebuilt efter the war.
Though the entrance fee might be expensive as compared... it is worth the money when u venture in to take a look

Thai boxing is an unique and agressive form of boxing which legally uses the legs in addition to the hands. It is a very popular sports in Thailand, so do see it when you are there.
