Ko Pha Ngan

by ak47uk

There is an island called Ko Pha Ngan where they hold a monthly full moon party, you can get a boat from Ko Sumui which leave regulary or hire a speed boat. It's best to go a few days before the full moon as the accommodation for the best places fills up quickly. Or you could get there on the full moon night and sleep on the beach and get the first boat back to Sumui in the morning. The prices for accommodation start from 200bht for a wooden hut to 1500bht for a bungalow with air-con. There are many cafe's and restaraunts to eat and drink and there are beach shacks selling food and drink on the night of the full moon .There is a lot of music, dancing, beer and drugs going on, BUT BE VERY CAREFUL there are a lot of plain clothed police present and it's not unheard of for a Thai Police Man to offer you a joint and then arrest you. Try to have a smoke at your accommodation and then go to...

night bazaar: Chiang Rai: night market

by call_me_rhia

In Chiang Rai the market is much smaller and less touristy than its larger counterpart in Chiang Mai - meaning it's much harder to bargain - prices are quite fair anyway. There are three stages with shows of traditional dance and music - for free but not very good - and a huge food court and market. Yuu just buy something from a food stall and then go sit down at one of the many tables dressed is enough

night bazaar: Chiang Mai: night market

by call_me_rhia

I have been to two night bazaars, one in the Chiang Mai and the other in Chiang Rai. In Chiang Mai it is called Night Bazaar, and it is huge: you really can find everything, especially crowds of tourist, fabrics and occasionally tailors that can make u custom made clothes like u want them (about 800 baht including the silk). dressed is enough

Ladyboys ( Katoeys )

by ak47uk

Ladyboys or Katoeys in Thai, you will see plenty of them in Thailand it doesn't seem to be a problem here the same for homosexuality and lesbians the gay scene has been going on for a long time in Thailand before the closet was open in most other countries, Sat at some bars you really can't tell the difference between the girls and ladyboys and so it seems with a lot of travelers who have a few drinks and walk hand in hand back to their apartments with them, whether they realize it is a ladyboy or not I am not exactly sure, but I am sure that they will realize in the morning. that said the full on katoeys start taking medicianal drugs early on to change them from their masculinity to a more feminine persuasion then it's the boob implants and some have cosmetic surgery to enhance there looks even down to having their adams apple removed and last but not least there is the nip and tuck...

Nightlife

by ak47uk

There are a lot of bars and night clubs in southern Thailand especially in the tourist areas such as Bangkok, Phuket and Ko Sumui, most places you can sit and have a drink at the bars and watch the action, and there are some places which are up market like escort clubs and go go bars these places charge a lot more for drinks, and it's in these places you can watch half naked ladies dancing the night away, you can also go and see live shows with women doing all sorts of acts, which sometimes involves ping pong balls, razor blades, baloons and alike. You will almost certainly get propositioned by women and girls in these places. There are discos which you have to pay a small fee to get in.

Muay Thai (Thai Boxing)

by herzog63

You can see Muay Thai in stadiums in many of the towns in Thailand with the biggest stadiums being in Bangkok. If you are interested you can check local times in the towns that you are in. Bangkok has 2 big stadiums Ratchadamnoen and Lumphini. Thursday night in Ratchadamnoen is the Big Fight Night there and I'm not sure about Lumphini Stadium. You can easily find out when you're in Bangkok.

Khao San Road

by herzog63

You can party the night away on Khao San Road! Or you can sit at one of the road side bars / Cafes and drink, eat or just people watch. Or wander through all of the alleys in and around Khao San Rd. After dark Khao San Road comes alive with activity! It turns into a one lane road as the vendors set up selling all kinds of stuff from CD's, Tapes, Food, clothing, shoes and tons of touristy nicknaks! The picture is Khao San Road early in the morning around sunrise. Anything goes!!

The Simon Cabaret: Girls, girls, girls???

by Vickster

Ladyboys at their finest!Thailand, and especially Bangkok, has long been associated with cross dressing males and they're so good you'd swear they were actually female. That theme has now spread to Phuket and the Simon Cabaret on the outskirts of Patong. There are two shows a night and its highly entertaining for all the right reasons. If anyone's worried about taking the kids, it really is a show suitable for all. Definitely no smut, jusy entertainers enjoying themselves. And if the kids are a little young to understand why a guy would want to dress like a woman, these men are so convincing you need never tell them. Smart casual - jeans are acceptable, but having a drink in the outdoor bar before or after the show probably means they'd be too hot anyway.

oldest trade at its peak!: Sex tour

by lohhweehua

If you chose to indulge in the oldest trade of human mankind, and dont batter an eyelid on the girls selling their body for indiviual pleasure, this is the place you may call heaven.most of this girls are force to work in this trade, and it is so common, that most of them dont know that they are prostitute. it IS that sad!anyway, you will not have any difficulties if you wish to find a lady of the night for a VERY reasonable prie. Naked??

ABOUT THE NIGHTLIFE

by joiedevivre

ABOUT WHAT THE THAI PEOPLE DO AND WHERE THEY GO IN THE NIGHTTIMEDiscotheques are supposed to close down at 2.00 AM but you could find yourself still dancing surrounded by Thai people until later. The Thai people love to go out and have a nice time drinking with their friends. They mostly go out in groups. If they are rich, they hang around fashionable pubs (impossible to keep an up-date list because fashion doesn't last long...)where they can be seen. They drive very expensive cars. They wear fashionable clothes. They drink imported whiskies. If they are young, they enjoy dancing in the discotheques and drinking local whiskies. Everybody likes to go to karaoke places. Some will rather prefer going to a massage parlor. Even if you can see Thai guys in go-go girls bars, or Thai grils in go-go boys bars, some places still refuse to let them in (and you don’t be surprised if in some places...
