The little mall I'm talking of is right opposite of Kosa Hotel. Unfortunately I can't remember the name.
There are a few clothe stores in there, Boots - beauty, health and stuff store, etc.
You can also get electronic stuff such as mp3-players, TVs, CD-players, etc.
It's probably a paradise for everyone looking for cheap video-games, software, etc. There are dozens of stalls selling ANY software, game (eve new ones) you can think of - still be aware that most of the stuff is not original !!!
There's also a store which sells DVDs, quite a lot in English - also mainly brand new movies or TV Series for very cheap prices - compared to European standards. Again not all is original, so shopping at one's own risk.
Still if you're into computer games and similar you cna spend hours there browsing through the hundreds of CDs.
As for clothes - some really cool stuff, if you take the time to look around - funky shirts, skirts, etc.
There are also some jewelery stalls that sell nice pieces too.
The mall does not have any popular western stores, it's more a big department store.
CDs, DVDs, Software, Clothes, Electronics, etc.
As for electronics - not that much less than in Europe

The Fairy Plaza Shoppinf Center is what comes close to a mall. There are different stores from a pharmacy, beauty, jewlery, DVDs to clothes.
It's not comparable to malls in Bangkok or anywhere in Europe or the US, but you may find some really nice stuff there, especially funky watches or jewlery.
They also have the more expensive Western brands.

A big handicraft shop where sells products from all parts of Thailand mainly in Northeastern area. And all come with budget price. I visitted this shop on the last day in Khon Kaen and found some interesting stuffs there and if compare to other shops,this OTOP center offer an average price. It's a good place for shopping local crafts.

Prahamakant offers all the major northeastern Thai handicrafts -- silk, axe pillows, baskets, heavy Lao-style silver -- together with clothing and a healthy dose of tourist trinkets... dolls, ornamental musical instruments, etc.
High quality, central location. Not the cheapest place in the province, but cheap by international standards.
Matmee (sometimes spelled mutmee) tie-dyed silk, cotton, or artificial fabrics can be extremely gaudy, but are also frequently gorgeous.
This place has one of the best selections of readymade, traditional-style patterned-silk garments (shirts, blouses, western- and Thai-style skirts) in Khon Kaen.
Silver's often a good deal too, but prices are lower in Laos, where much of the stuff is actually made.

I found this shop when I visitted the Office of Culture in Khon Kaen University.This shop runs by local artists who applied modern art and local handicrafts together.In this shop,you can find resource books on Northeastern(almost 're in Thai language),notebooks,well designed postcards which you cann't find in other shops,textiles,wood carving products,reproduct on local stuffs and more.And all 're in average price such as Postcard begin from 5 THB.

This small shop where I always visited when I visitted Khon Kaen. They sell so many handicrafts which almost come from all areas in Northeastern part of Thailand and all come with budget price.
