This is a 500m covered alley market beside the Mekong river, where you can find handmade Thai and Lao products, Chinese teas, cheap (and often low quality) electronics, clothes and a bewildering assortment of other items. It's open daily 08:00-18:00.
The main shopping area in Nong Khai is Tha Sadet market or also known as Indochina Market. Most of the products here are from China, Laos & Vietnam as well as Thailand. You can find Thai silk, clothing, electrical goods, local handicraft, basketry, jewellery & so many other things including food. Most of the shop here open after 9.00am & close around 6.00pm.

We saw Thai silk were sold in the shop & along the path way in Tsa Sadet market but since we're not the expert in silk, we can't judge the quality & know whether the silk is genuine. It sure is beautiful & make a good souvenirs even if it's not real.

This market located at Tha Sadet pier where 's the pier for boarding to Laos(local only).In this market,you can buy many stuffs such as dried food and snacks,clothes,electronics,kitchen wares,toys,.. Almost imported from Indochina and East Europe.And some stuffs 're local crafts such as textiles.This market open daily between 7.00 AM.to 6.30 PM. Apart from shopping,this market also located some restaurants where sells local food such as fresh fish from Mae Khong River.In the remoted area also located some guesthouses in budget price and old shophouses coz it's old commercial area.
