  • TURTLE VILLAGE at KHONKAEN

Tao (turtle) village is at Ban Kok, about 2 kilometres from the district office on Highway No. 2062 (Mancha Khiri-Phra Yuen). • Unrestored Khmer Hospital

In the Surin area there are many small Khmer sites. Prasat Chang Pae is an unrestored Khmer hospital. It was in a rural area next to a lake filled with purple water lilies. Again, we were the only people there. See also my Thailand travelogue on Smaller Khmer Sites.
