You may be somewhat off the beaten path once you've reached Phimai, but you're not so far off it that there isn't a 7-11 to be found. If it's a hot day, you'll be grateful that it's there, too - it's a great place to find a cold drink or an ice-cream, and it's also one of the few airconditioned shops in town, which means you cool down as you're browsing. Lots of snack food, too - perhaps it's just me, but I have a terrible weakness for the 7-11 sausage....

There are local souvenir shops in the area of Sai Ngam. You can also buy souvenir in central of Phimai town, around the area of the Historical Park.
