This is a large, busy outdoor market complex by the train station at the eastern end of town. You can buy clothes, luggage, food, household gear, toys, DVDs and games. They also have live music and karaoke. It was a very peaceful experience wandering around these markets. Not once was I ever hassled - just friendly nods and waves, no hard selling or anything like that.
It's worth checking out. As far as I could see, most shops closed at 10pm but quite a few lingered a bit later. My hotel was just opposite the complex.
What to pay: The prices are low. Haggling is less common than in markets I've been to elsewhere in Thailand. One marketeer even volunteered a discount after I'd made the purchase!

The product here mainly about the remodelling of Ban Chiang pottery and E-san textile.But you can also find local stuffs in some shops.Try to walk around ,compare and choose the best one,there ‘re so many shops inside. I ‘ve got a plain small pottery with iron leg and took it back for my own painting design. : )

The night market is located just accross the Udon Thani train station. The market opens in the late afternoon around 5:00pm and is open until 10:00pm every day.
What to buy: You will find anything from cell phones, DVDs, CDs, art, craft, T-shirts, men/women clothing, shoes, food, paintings, jewelry, and so much more.
What to pay: you can always negotiate anything you purchase
