I decided to join the large group that were to watch the Elephants play their various games. The games are different ball games and also games of endurance lifting logs etc.. But then , they line up and with the help of the "mahout" who dips the brush for them in the various colours the elephants paint a picture.. I found it hard to beleive that such a large animal could handle such a small activity. Also I was quite amazed at the quality and definition of the paintings. These are then put on sale for the public with profits going to the Elepahant park.. This was a different and enjoyable stop.

The first activity is meeting the Elephants and with the bananas and sugar cane sticks purchased for treats for them...be careful as they will just take them all with one turn of their trunk...when you get close they will wrap their trunks around you and play games like take off your hat...then they take them all in the river for a scrub before their activities begin..there are many elephants here..
