Staurt on farm track in search of hot springs

Me and Staurt rented out motorbikes from aYa Service in Pai for 120b including insurance. This is the best way to get around and visit other areas around Pai. We went to the hot spings, the temple on the hill, soem waterfalls and then got incredibly lost twice, but that was the best part. We rode past Pai airport which was just a strip of grass wiht some cows wandering around. We tried to find some other hot springs but got lost, chose to explore a farm track and then turned back in fear of turning up at some druglords mansion in Burma or something! We also ended up in a small village and ended up going up and down literally every road there. Stuart decided to ask the oldest man in the village for directions. Before we knew it there was a small gathering around us all trying to decipher what we were saying. It was so funny when we went past people again and they just looked at us in such away, like ' oh dear, silly tourists, haha'.

SaNookDee!! Good fun!! Rubber rafting is so much fun is Pai, you all must do it if in Pai. The best trip you can do is going down the Pai and Kohng river, starting in Pai and ending up near Mea Hong Son, near the Myanmese border. Pai rafting did a great job. The trip was 9 hours, but not boreing at any time. You stop for lunch in a small hilltribe village along the way. The scenery is really amazing. There are huge limestone mountains and green trees along the river, and some parts are surrounded by rice patties. There are a bunch or rapids along the way, a lot of fun! The rapids range from level 1 to 3, for the level 1 rapids you can get out of the boat and float on your back through them. There will be a guide on each boat to help, and you will have a life vest too. RUBBER RAFTING IS MUCH BETTER THAN BAMBOO RAFTING!!!!!!!! It is an excellent must do trip!!

Hop on your trusty scoot and hit the road. Explore the country side and beautiful mountainous regions of Northern Thailand. There are many natural hot springs and great waterfalls nearby worth exploring and on the way you can stop and see what the local hill tribe peoples have to offer.

Many of them not yet have experiences with money and touriss, what´s following a natural unspoilt consciousness...
You should ask before you make a photo of the people!
