If you need some time to relax for an afternoon after a trek, head to the Pai Hot Springs. Located right outside of Pai, these hotsprings are beautiful. You can feel hot water! And just relax and enjoy the rice patties and mountains.

The hotsprings in Pong Sak are a little more outside to north, and the more popular in the east of Pai, through the elephant ressorts, where you can rent them for 2 or 3 hours, but i didn´t try.
They usually are cooling from top to the bottom down a little, and there´s a pool mixed with cold water, so start there first....
The water is at least 38 or 45 degree, so your body just heats and heats, don´t stay too long in there!

Lod Cave is a huge cave - a really nice one: with zillions of stalagtities and stalagmites, but there are aldo underground lakes and rivers, and natural amphitheatres. it takes about 90 minutes to visit it and you go through staircases and little footpaths.
You ned your own torch to visit it, or yuo can rent one at the entrance. it also makes sense to hire a guide (100 bath) so that you can be shown all the meandres and peculiarities of the cave. Apparently at dawn and dusk you can also watch the flight of bats

The canyon is on the way to the hot springs from Pai. It's a short walk to the edge and then a twisty path around the top.The picture doesn't do the drop of either side of the path justice.

I can’t believe that I’ll find a very nice place to have a massage in Pai. There is so clean and good massage in Klai Sen with such a reasonable incredible price. If you don’t try, you may regret.

the temple is not that high up and the steps are very gradual but from the top you can see the whole of Pai and the surrounding mountains and plains.

Days will melt away in this welcoming area. Although it has become quite touristy, when I was there in low season it was very relaxing and we didn't feel crowded at all.
