If you are in Petchabun you may visit Sri Thep Historial Park. It's more than 100 km souuth of Petchabun and it's interesting but not memorable. If you have a day more you may spend here. Of course nothing to compare with Sukothai or other historical sites in Thailand

It'better arrive here by car. You may visit two must: Khao Kho and Sri Thep. The best route is from Phitsanaluke - Lom Sak Road.

what is very interesting resort in Phetchabun is Phu Kaew Hill Resort. It's luxualy resort , it will inspire yr mind to come back again after first visit.
