When off the beaten path, make sure you try riding elephants, it is a unique experience. I would not plan on doing it for more than a couple of hours however, since it can become VERY uncomfortable.

A: from where? that whole area is mountainous and you'll need to have a quite reliable motorbike if you plan to ride there.
