    Chinese New Year

Fondest memory: During the Chinese New Year a lot of burning goes on. It is some kind of tradition. I saw bonfires everywhere.

    Chinese New Year

Fondest memory: Seeing happy, smiling faces for Chinese New Year. This is a time when Chinese families get together to eat well and celebrate.

Firecrackers to celebrate Chinese New Year

Fondest memory: The sights and sounds of Chinese New Year. The smoke in this photo is the result of letting off firecrackers which have been banned in other parts of the world. They sound like gunshots going off!
