This was the venue for one of my best nights out in Hat Yai. Interestingly, I'd visited before and didn't like it at all. I didn't bother writing anything after this first visit as I didn't have much good to say. I think the problem was that I'd gone early in the week and also too early in the evening.
My 2nd visit was after 10pm on a Friday night and the place was jumping. The band are good and, as you'd expect, there are some Latin rhythms mixed into the music but not exclusively so. I was pleased that the one request I made they were able to play, and they did a fine job. "The game of love" by Santana and Michelle Branch.
The pub is frequented mainly by locals. No backpacker freaks here as there are in the places along the Thamanoonvithee Road.
