Central Department Store, Hat Yai

Generally, Central Department Store sells higher end merchandise than its counterparts in Hatyai. However, I like to hangout at B2S on the 4th floor. There is an English books section that you may find something to read on your journey. They also have reasonable selection of travel guide and picture books.

What to buy: High end merchandise and books

The Central Department Store is just like any other department store selling a large variety of branded goods and medium to higher class products... ranging from comestics, men's wear, ladies' wear, teen's wear, kid's wear, shoes, leather goods, sports goods, accessories, etc...

There is also a supermarket at the basement of the store...

What to pay: As this is a department store, all price are fixed... However, there are occasional promotion sales where generous discounts are given to shoppers...

Central Department Store is like any other department store in the world. The first thing you see (and smell) as you enter is the cosmetics counter - why is this always the case? The girls working in this section are pretty - in a 'girl working in a department store cosmetics department' kind of way. The rest of the store has items you would normally expect to find in a department store.
