Do you like jewellery? do you like nice shiny stuff? then Hat Yai is the place to shop.....there are jewelery shops on every corner... and they are all willing to bargain.......we bought heaps for myself and family.....and it was so cheap........

Buy chains, diamonds, any thing you like
What to pay:
I got a lovely chain for $100 (australian) which over here would have cost about $500 +
There are loads of Chinese gold shops around Hat Yai. Personally I wouldn't be seen dead wearing anything from one of these shops as I have no desire to look like a used car dealer or a pimp. On women a small amount of subtle gold jewellery can look okay.
