We engaged a one day trip in 2004 to have sightseeing outside Hat Yai. The guide cum driver used his Honda City to bring us to Songkhla Beach, a declining Buddha temple and on board a small ferry which can also take vehicles on board to a few Buddhist temples. The family tour inclusive a simple lunch cost about THB2000, I recalled.
