Sayuri Massage

Thai Massage is a must in Hatyai and at very cheap prices. They are sure to give your bones and muscles a good relaxing twist. Do not pay more than 240 baht for a minimum of 1 hour and 45 minute massage service. There are plenty of massage parlours in Hat Yai but the best 2 thai massage parlours i have been to is:

Lee Garden Ancient Massage
7th Floor of Lee Garden Plaza Hotel
29 Prachatipat Road
Price: 240 baht
Service: 1 hour 45 minutes
Other: comes with a cold towel before the massage service and also a cup of tea

Ancient Sakura Massage (Sayuri)
1st Floor of Sakura Grand View Hotel
186 Niphat-uthit 3 Road
Price: 240 baht
Service: 2 hours
Other: comes with 2 steam towels, one before and another after the session with a cup of ginseng tea.

(traditional) thai ancient massage....

Termed Nuad Phaen Boran in Thai, it is translates as Ancient Massage or Traditional Massage... Most good masseurs are trained from Wat Po in Bangkok where there is a traing school of this art... The Thai Ancient Massage is an extraordinary method of aligning the energies of the body... Starting at the feet and progressing up to the head, the client’s body will be moved, loosened and stretched... It can be a hard massage and may be painful if you are not used to it...

For maximum benefit, you should have at least two hours for the massage...

foot massage, anyone?...

Besides ancient massage, the next popular activity is foot reflexology... You can have it anywhere in the shopping district, with standing signboard along the 5-foot ways... An hour massage will cost you about 250 baht... It can be quite relaxing as well as painful experience (ie only if you have some bodily ailments that can be revealed by the massage, so they claimed)...

After a long day of walking around, your foot might get pain... and there are plenty of foot massage center around the corner in Hat Yai. They cost about 250-350 Bath depending on how long you want them to massage your foot... to get a cheaper price, you can buy the voucher from most of the travel agents there as they offer a better price.
