check the island out on a day trip!
You should have prior experience because there are steep slopes and serpentines (also it's better to ride one bike a person to manage the bike better).
Take new bikes and try it out before you rent it. The prices are very low, even if you take a good bike. If I rembember right, I paid 500 Baht for an entire day (2003).
The place is on a cliff overlooking the sea. You can get Wiener Schnitzel, Gulasch, Salads Soups, Wein, Thai food as well.
Favorite Dish: Chicken Salad
Every day around 9.30 am, in high season also later, 150 baht. No pier in Ko chang, be prepared you will get wet feet!
The Pier in Ranong is at Sapan Pla next to the Ranong Custom House and near the pier to Kawthoung / Myanmar.
Rather slow internet not wallways working at the Mini Market and in the Village, 100 Baht per hour.
Wifi at Cashew Resort, 1 Baht per minute, 30 Baht minimum. Fairly good Wifi at the Suan Por Resort (south, next to Mamas Resort)
