ITEMS TO BRING?
Luggage and bags: Light, easy to manage luggage or back pack. I saw this woman checking out of her room with her boyfriend, and she had a bag big enough to hold half a household. Needless to say her boyfriend didn't look too impressed about carrying it.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Light clothing, shoes if you want them but I would suggest something cooler.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: A little medical kit always can come in handy, because you never know.
Photo Equipment: Digital or video camera for all the beach/scenery photos.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Sunglasses for sure and sunscreen is a must.
Miscellaneous: Beacause of the periodic power outages, maybe some batteries might want to be taken. Especially people with cell phones, compters ect. *****REMEMBER YOU WILL NEED AN ADAPTER TO CONVERT TO 120 VOLT.*****

Don't bring too much!
Luggage and bags: I could have got by on half the things I took - I took long trousers and didn't wear them - I spent the whole time in shorts and t-shirts, perhaps just putting on a nicer top in the evening. It's not a posh place and unless you're staying at an upmarket place, then don't bother bringing anything too fancy
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: I took trainers and only wore them once - unless you are into trekking to the caves or along forest paths, you don't really need sturdy shoes.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: you can get most toiletries/sun cream etc in the mini markets they have there.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: We took snorkel equipment, although on the trip to Ko Rok that we went on, it was provided.
