We had one of the best days we have ever had in all of thailand. Our day cruise aboard Dragonheart was the best thing we could have done. We had signed up for just a day trip which was advertised as returning at 4pm. The crew was so nice and friendly that they extended it through the sunset and it was one of the most romantic and happy days of our lives! The endless amount of snacks, fruit and drinks were outstanding but not half as great as the lunch. The curries and springrolls were to die for. We haven't had a meal that spectacular in ages, and we couldnt believe it was happening with such beautiful surroundings and included in the price! The weather was a little cloudy but we still managed to walk on secluded beaches and snorkel in the turquoise waters of the neighboring island near koh lipe.
There were 8 of us in total and plenty of space on the boat to relax. The crew did such a great jjob making sure that we were comfortable and the place was spotless. Did i mention that it looks like a real pirateship! It was soooooo cool! Thank you dragonheart and crew! thank you!!!!!

It is possible to go diving or snorkelling, with all good intentions I never managed to do the former during my first trip there as it's one of those islands where it's so laid back and chilled out it's all you can do to drag your bones out of your hammock to do anything so energetic as pull on a BCD and tank to explore underwater Lipe... bliss :)))
Here's a pic of MiZZie & Friends snorkelling in beautiful clear emerald waters of Koh Lipe. It's like swimming in an aquarium, with all the colourful tropical reef fish... simply beautiful!

Q: Hi all, Please advise me where should I stay... Pattaya beach, Sunrise beach or Sunset beach? I plan to go Ko Lipe for diving on...

A: It really does not matter where you stay as the island is small and it´s easy to walk to other beaches...but Sunrise beach is the best in low season.
