Food was great here, very high standard for such reasonable prices. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, to my girlfriend and I, and the rope swing was insane. Its free to use, and is sooo scary, but good fun, highly recommend going to this restaurant in the day for all the water activities, although i havent been at night yet.
Favorite Dish: The Pizza was great, they done have set Pizza dishes, but you have to customise yours instead. I had a Bolognaise, Peppers and Onion Pizza, that was absolutely tasty!

Quite a small italian restaurant, only 16 to 20 seats.
I think it's a new restaurant, the thai woman who makes the pizzas will welcome you, propose you drinks, make pizzas for you, chat with you, offer some bruchettas and wine if you come often to her restaurant, and, she's thai and makes pizzas, the world is upside down now it seems, and the pizzas she makes are actually made from fresh ingredients and are well cooked, and for the price she asks, it's good to have some pizzas when you are fed up of 2 weeks of thai cuisine.
The restaurant is clean and i would say half occidental half thai architecture, i say that concerning the building.
She really deserves to be known further more to at least have a constant flow of customers as she's a bit hidden next to the kodak shop in thong sala main street.
I would recommend it to anyone, as i am confident she will take care of them really good.
I hope she will stay the same as she gets known and have success.
Briefly, i recommend it.
The price range i put is for the whole thing, from entry to dessert with 1 to 3 drinks, so count less if youre going to get only the main dish.
Favorite Dish: Bruschettas and pizzas.
She also cooked us a salmon steak which was really good too, and offered some bruchettas quite often, and some wine, real good wine for thailand, and she is a good italian cooker for being thai i can tell !

We loved luna lounge, it is the perfect restaurant, great thai food, wines, interesting menu and lovely coctails - they are famous for their mojito. Makes a good contrast to resorts and the basic thai food shacks, offering comfort, wonderful service and good food. Also very comfy sofas and nice music and decor.
Favorite Dish: Phi Phi chicken- Chicken breast stuffed with mango salsa, served with delicious mashed potato and stirfry veg. Their lamb massaman curry is also fantastic.

Me and my friends went to Nics Restaurant few days ago. What a difference to the other places in Had Rin. No loud TV! Excellent Food, great Ambience, quick and friendly service. We had the best Mojito in Thailand.
Favorite Dish: Try the XXL-Pizza and the Tapas-Sets, they are deli and not expensive at all!!

Becareful.....if /when you are trying to boost your morrale or some sort of stomach ailment you think needs some good old western food watch out for the pizza or pasta.
Anyone whos been to SEA before knows how this one goes....youre starving but only for something familiar........I dont know....the pizza looks good - theyve got many varieties.....yummmy........
Pizza arrives and its a piece of dough in some state of over cooked, undercooked or even raw.
Worst part is yet to come.....take a bite.....
Wait a minute the sauce tastes funny.....did I put ketchup on this thing???/What did I order?
Low and behold the tomato sauce on the pizza in all its layered glory, is Heinz Ketchup.
Sometimes its a blend and sometimes 100% pure ketchup! Nothing to wolf down on a hungry stomach....enough just to send back and go with the fried noodles or rice.
This also applies to pasta.....nothing like the most expensive meal youve had in days going better as a side for grilled cheese. For some reason they just cant seem to make decent tomato sauces - or even at least tolerable.
NOTE: this isint for or at every place.....if you really need to eat one of these dishes best to ask around to others first.....make sure you inquire about the sauce.

When we returned Jan 08' on the evening of the FMP Casablanca was packed like any other restaurant. We looked across the street and there was another Casablanca restaurant.....same restaurant PT 2. WE were all able to find a seat in group of 6 and had our fav dish. Same type of serve and atmosphere. The menu was a carbon copy of the visits past.
Favorite Dish: The Pizza.....only if you like thin crust.
Cost 180B-200B ea.

The restaurant at Sandy Beach Bungalows is very good .They serve both Thai & Western food and at night you can eat fresh seafood BBQ on the beach or in the chill out area with low tables sitting on the floor. You can just help yourself to drinks and just write it down on your bill. There is also a movie room upstairs with lots of DVDs for guest if your feeling bored. The staff here are very nice and they can arrange transport to the pier when you leave just tell them the night before.
Favorite Dish: big beef/chicken BBQ,Barracuda, fruit shakes.
