*** In the end of 2008, The Yoga Thailand has moved to the south part of Ko Samui and kept offerring nicer yoga studio and so on. Pls check their website!! ***
If you do Ashtanga yoga regularly or are interested in it, it's worth to visit and have the practice.
Yoga Thailand provides you the mysore style of Ashtanga class from 7:30 in the morning, and also other classes. Here's their web page. http://www.yoga-thailand.com/ Check it out!!
The studio is facing to the nice beach, almost it's like the private beach. You can definitely consentrate a bit more on your Ashutanga practice. The sound of waves leads your Victorian breathing and peaceful mind. :) My favorite part is jumping into the beach right after the practice. It may be not good to let your body cool down after the practice, though....
Also the studio provides you the accomodation, the harb steaming bath, the massage treatments, the delicious vegetarian foods and the retreat programs.
One opinion. Do not expect the very luxury and holistic resort. Yoga Thailand has the very simple atmosphere and provide you with the minimum equipment. It's up to you how much you can enjoy there. Listen to your body and mind, and dedicate your time for those. Then you will find luxuary in your mind. Om.

The spa is located on the beachfront. It offers a huge range of holistic treatments, ancient and modern, from all over the globe. Treatments include massages, body wraps, foot massages, herbal baths, poultices and facials.

After days of high energy sightseeing and beach combing....we decided to try another "Thai" massage and whilst out on the scooters, we drove by the Ban Sabai Spa. Walking through the front gate, it might seem much like any other spa (calm, serene, pretty....) - however once you walk into the front door and through the pavilion and gaze out onto the Gulf of Siam, it's a whole other worldly experience. I just looked up the website for the place and it appears that prices have risen exponentially - however when we were there, a massage and facial for two totaled $18. Maybe that was because we visited in October after the full moon celebrations and there weren't too many people around. It still seems pretty reasonable however.

One of the highlights of my stay in Koh Samui was indulging in a Spa experience. I had a wonderful "Bliss and Radiant" treatement at the Living Senses Spa, a combination of one hour aromatic oil massage with one hour facial. Oh boy! What a great experience! The spa is beautiful and the masseues are the best. I was told they go to the Chiang Mai region to pick the best masseuses and I believe it. I felt asleep during the massage and my face looked like 10 years less after that! And it lasted for days!!! I highly recommend this Spa to anyone. Their service is also fantastic. Book in advance. Highly recommended!

You will find this SPA centre well-decorated as if you are in a mini-Ayutthya palace. Great service, as they are able to fetch you to/fro your resort.
Natural ingredients, from sesame seeds to cucumber, are used for all treatments.
A two and half hour package that includes a body scrub, a body wrap, a massage and a facial costs around 3000B.

In Koh Samui there's a lot of excellent spas. My favourite is Eranda Herbal Spa. It's located in north Chaweng, near Coral Bay Resort.
It's builded in a steep hillside and the wiev is magnificent. And because it's an outdoor spa, the wind breezes mildly.
In Thailand you have to have a traditional Thai massage. It's so relaxing and at least for me it was a bit funny too.
Eranda is not the cheapest spa in Koh Samui, but it's worth visiting.
