The Spa by tere1 One of the highlights of my stay in Koh Samui was indulging in a Spa experience. I had a wonderful "Bliss and Radiant" treatement at the Living Senses Spa, a combination of one hour aromatic oil massage with one hour facial. Oh boy! What a great experience! The spa is beautiful and the masseues are the best. I was told they go to the Chiang Mai region to pick the best masseuses and I believe it. I felt asleep during the massage and my face looked like 10 years less after that! And it lasted for days!!! I highly recommend this Spa to anyone. Their service is also fantastic. Book in advance. Highly recommended! Leave a Comment

The spa is located on the beachfront. It offers a huge range of holistic treatments, ancient and modern, from all over the globe. Treatments include massages, body wraps, foot massages, herbal baths, poultices and facials. Leave a Comment Address: The NoraDirections: Chaweng Beach

The Chedi Spa by ECYM You will find this SPA centre well-decorated as if you are in a mini-Ayutthya palace. Great service, as they are able to fetch you to/fro your resort. Natural ingredients, from sesame seeds to cucumber, are used for all treatments. A two and half hour package that includes a body scrub, a body wrap, a massage and a facial costs around 3000B. Eranda Spa, Koh Samui by Kivi In Koh Samui there's a lot of excellent spas. My favourite is Eranda Herbal Spa. It's located in north Chaweng, near Coral Bay Resort. It's builded in a steep hillside and the wiev is magnificent. And because it's an outdoor spa, the wind breezes mildly. In Thailand you have to have a traditional Thai massage. It's so relaxing and at least for me it was a bit funny too. Eranda is not the cheapest spa in Koh Samui, but it's worth visiting. Leave a Comment

Except from the many spa's, that sprung up all over Koh Samui in the last couple of years like mushrooms (beautifull, but sometimes way too expensive), there's many places where you can get a nice massage. The one I recommend is a redbrown, wooden country-house somewhere along the main road through Chaweng Beach, let's say in the middle. I know this sounds a little vague, but the entrance is a small shop where they sell all sorts of natural stuff, like soap and shampoo. Upstairs there is a balcony and a big room, were friendly and qualified masseuses do their jobs quietly. You can change behind a curtain. If you order a massage with oil, just be carefull and read the description on the menu. Some oils can make your skin burn. If you don't have any experience with oil, just ask for the ordinary massage-oil. After the massage you will be provided with a nice cup of tea and please, be so friendly to tip the lady. I know it is none of my business, but these peope are really nice and gratefull. They love to chat with you, allthough their English is usually very poor. They may nod, but that does not mean they understand. Best way is to keep it very simple. And enjoy your massage (two hours provides you with a wonderfull experience) that will make all your fatique fly away... Leave a Comment

View of the private massage beds on beach by kls67 After days of high energy sightseeing and beach combing....we decided to try another "Thai" massage and whilst out on the scooters, we drove by the Ban Sabai Spa. Walking through the front gate, it might seem much like any other spa (calm, serene, pretty....) - however once you walk into the front door and through the pavilion and gaze out onto the Gulf of Siam, it's a whole other worldly experience. I just looked up the website for the place and it appears that prices have risen exponentially - however when we were there, a massage and facial for two totaled $18. Maybe that was because we visited in October after the full moon celebrations and there weren't too many people around. It still seems pretty reasonable however.
