Everything is pretty cheap on the island...and renting out a pushbike (mountain bike) was no exception. Maybe for $7/a day...we rented out a bike...and road around the whole island. It was such a neat trip because the island is different all the way around. we stopped at the fishermans' market on the opposite side of the island which was hurt by the tsunami...but there were a ton of locals hanging out.
There were rice patties, livestock, beaches, water, rainforest...all the way around the island...
Highly recommend seeing the island either this way...or via moped. It's only 11-12 miles all the way around...so it's pretty easy. From the resort...there is one way which is easier than the other. (we went the wrong way) because there's a steep hill going one way...yikes! Otherwise...the rest of the biking is very flat and easy.

We went hiking with a tour guide...and it was absolutely amazing...and scary at the same time. We got lost...and when you're under big trees..and cannot see the light..it is hard to navigate.
It was a trek close to the Paradise Island Resort...and if you go...be prepared...or hire a guide to show you around....it's amazing....
