Three Island tour, Poda, Chicken and Tup Islands.
Chicken Island here we come, there is a small rundown beach bar/restaurant here so we had a lovely simple lunch of squid and prawns.
Now this is Chicken Island and we saw the local wildlife, no not a chook, a fat well fed goose!
We were going to have a swim here but our guide said wait till we go over to Tup Island, our guide said it was much better and how right he was.
You can walk from Chicken to Tup Island at low tide but Sonne told us we must go over in the boat as it was getting to deep to walk across.
Chicken Island got its name from a bizarre rock spire formation which resembles the head of a chicken. This island consists of steep cliffs, while the other end has beautiful beaches along a peninsula.
It looks more like a turkey neck than chicken to me though. We stop here for snorkeling. I have to say most of the corals are dead and not much to see except a few colorful fish. Masks are provided.
We stopped here for some snorkeling. The waters around were clear but apart from some crabs on a rock there didn't seem to be much to see.
Chicken island is just a nickname fro Ko Dam Khwan. It is because of the unusual rock formation on the southern tip.
