The main island on a boat tour - Four Islands. Once again we negociated this down from 600 bath pp to 450. A small packed Paed Thai and water is included in the price. Lovely sand and lovely views, although the beach is not really wide enough for the amount of visitors. Loads of wild monkeys here and they are wild... I was pursued by the patriarch for getting too close to his kids.

Three Island tour, Poda, Chicken and Tup Islands.

First stop was Poda Island, we were very lucky as they was no one else there except a few locals and hundreds of monkeys.

They came down out of the trees as soon as we got out of the boat, they wanted food and of course we had nothing so they soon backed off, thank god as one was a huge mean looking one with big teeth, didn’t fancy getting to close to any of them.

The beach on Poda Island was filthy, the sand area that is, not the water, that looked lovely and crystal clear.

There was a lot of washed up rubbish, apparently the beach is not cleaned during low season but is done every day in high season.

We stayed here about an hour then it’s off to somewhere else for some snorkeling.

Poda Island is a privately owned island by one of the AoNang Resorts. It's free if you want to stay on the beach, but if you intend to step further into the island, there's a charge of 20 baht. It has a beautiful beach and is only about 5-10minutes away from Ao Nang by speed boat.

    Limestone cliff off Poda Island

A beautiful island we visited while in Ao Nang. I recommend you take a long boat and go see this island.
