Southern Thailand Nightlife

  • Clubs, bars, go go

    Phuket Nightlife

Tattoo Bar is opposite Sabai Beach Restaurant Loma Park and is one of our favorite bars; it is right in front of Patong Tattoo which is owned by our very good friends of many years Mit and Wat. It is one of the first places we take friends and family for a drink (and a tattoo) I have lost count of the amount of parties, get togethers and fun...

  • Post Laser Disc

    Hat Yai Nightlife

Have tried this place a couple of times now, and although a jug of Chang draft is 120 baht in happy hour, the food needs a lot of attention. I ordered the chicken kiev, and asked for it to be hot (it was cold last time) sure enough the kiev & fries were hot, but the veg was stone bonk cold. Portions also very small.

  • Reggae Bar

    Ko Samui Nightlife

The Reggae pub is a great way to ease yourself into a good night out. It starts off really at about 10.30 with some Reggae music and some rock ballads. They have a very good house band caaled "Big Roots" that has been playing there nightly for quite some time now. As the place fills up a bit the band plays more funky dance tunes and some newer...

  • Simon cabaret

    Phuket Nightlife

We went into this show a bit dubious .... I mean after all it is essentially a lady/boy dress-up miming show, so you really cant have any high expectations! But ... we were both pleasantly surprised and impressed. The miming was second rate and the dancing was well ... Georgia could dance much better .... but the costumes and the stage sets were...

  • The Pubb

    Hat Yai Nightlife

Up to date review of The Pubb. Great friendly staff, especially the boss lady!! Aircon & no smoking inside, with a live band starting around 2100hrs. Pavement seating outside with a guitarist/singer, he plays some good Shadows instrumentals. Draft Chang at 100 baht a litre jug!!!! No noticible dress code

  • Green Mango

    Ko Samui Nightlife

Just a tip for those who want to go to this etablissement: Beware of waitresses shortchanging at the Green Mango. Yesterday I gave a waitress a 500 THB bill for a beer (which costs 100 THB) and when she did'nt show up with the change within 15 minutes, I complained to her and then the manager. She blandly denied having gotten 500 (said it was 100...

  • Corazon Latin Pub & Restaurant

    Hat Yai Nightlife

This was the venue for one of my best nights out in Hat Yai. Interestingly, I'd visited before and didn't like it at all. I didn't bother writing anything after this first visit as I didn't have much good to say. I think the problem was that I'd gone early in the week and also too early in the evening. My 2nd visit was after 10pm on a Friday night...

  • Reggae on the ocean.

A great bar with several levels, built right on the rocks of the southern end of Kata Beach. A great, chill vibe as you listen to reggae and sit on cushions, sofas or swings while watching people launch lanterns on the beach.

  • Bao beach bar

Every evening you can enjoy beer or coctail at local bar. Bao is great barman and great man. He speaks very good English so you can spent hours and hours talking about anything. During the day you can enjoy perfect massage here.

  • local tip

green mango area - if theres any sign of a fight - run!!! (unless you have practiced thai boxing or you are in a large group) you will probably be outnumbered so walk away or the police will charge you not the locals! also be in bed by 2am or you'll be in for a nasty dangly surprise (unless your name is pete or wayne i love the xxxx wykes)

  • nightlife

If your looking for nightlife the places to go would definitely be Phuket and Patong. Those cities really never sleep. Theres tons of restaurants, nightclubs, bars, and anything else you are looking for, really ANYTHING ELSE. Theres really no dress code in Thailand everyone is very casual except for the tourists.

  • Out on the beach area...

High energy clubs all along the beach and in the town. Plenty of new languages...get knee deep in it cause it may only come around once in a lifetime...feel the beat of the music while you walk down the beach... On this island...skirt for girls...t-shirt and shorts for guys...formality is back in reality :)

  • Let's get Loud....

Crowded and cramp.he entre fee is 100 Baht and one drink is included. All drinks cost 100 Baht. Open at 2200hrs and close around 0500hrs Casual

  • Music, Drunk, Fun, Ready In Car..!!

It was energetic in yer face kinda live band. With happenning tuk-tuk driver name Shark drove and pulled over at local's underground pub outskirt of Hatyai City. Freeflow of Chivas running over flow the barrell. Crazy bunch of band members boozin' around whinin' out "pood mark-mark"!!. Get the hell out of "cikgu" on the chair..!! (and even on the...

  • Full moon party

The full moon party was the craziest party i have ever been to in my life. Its a party that they hold every month on the full moon and one they spend days preparing for. thousands of tourists and locals arrive from around thailand for this festivity. what i love about it so much was that everyone can do whatever they feel and the party really feels...

  • rock music in paradise??

Rolling Stonned in Phi Phi village, the local band play nightly a mixture of Rock music catering for all tastes. The band are amazing, when I first found this bar we were shocked, to us what could be better than sitting under the stars, drinking iced Singha beer or a freshly made cocktail listening to a Thai rock band singing all your favourite...

  • buckets beware

Reggae Bar on Phi Phi the busiest bars on the island. With daily drink promotions which always have the deadly Thai whiskey red bull buckets on offer, this has been the downfall of many a tourist, myself included.Recently installed a HUGE video screen where you can watch all of the latest international sports and music events. Nightly Thai boxing...
