5 ReviewsHave tried this place a couple of times now, and although a jug of Chang draft is 120 baht in happy hour, the food needs a lot of attention. I ordered the chicken kiev, and asked for it to be hot (it...

A great bar with several levels, built right on the rocks of the southern end of Kata Beach. A great, chill vibe as you listen to reggae and sit on cushions, sofas or swings while watching people launch lanterns on the beach.

nightlife
by Madeline627
If your looking for nightlife the places to go would definitely be Phuket and Patong. Those cities really never sleep. Theres tons of restaurants, nightclubs, bars, and anything else you are looking for, really ANYTHING ELSE.
Theres really no dress code in Thailand everyone is very casual except for the tourists.

by Atomic_Punk
High energy clubs all along the beach and in the town. Plenty of new languages...get knee deep in it cause it may only come around once in a lifetime...feel the beat of the music while you walk down the beach...
On this island...skirt for girls...t-shirt and shorts for guys...formality is back in reality :)

Haadrin Beach - Koh Pangan: Full moon party
by snoopkelev
The full moon party was the craziest party i have ever been to in my life. Its a party that they hold every month on the full moon and one they spend days preparing for. thousands of tourists and locals arrive from around thailand for this festivity. what i love about it so much was that everyone can do whatever they feel and the party really feels like it will never end (it finally dies down at about noon the next day).the night started pretty late like around 2am(here in LA we are used to going out at 10pm). but its all good, becasue we started drinking bucket after bucket after bucket and we were smashed. there were a lot of other people getting high off extasy and weed but thats not my thing. we then found some people with glowing paint that we put all over our bodies and faces and we proceeded to dance like psychos until we all pretty much passed out. Erez was the first to go, we...
Rolling Stonned - Phi Phi island: rock music in paradise??
by mflares
Rolling Stonned in Phi Phi village, the local band play nightly a mixture of Rock music catering for all tastes. The band are amazing, when I first found this bar we were shocked, to us what could be better than sitting under the stars, drinking iced Singha beer or a freshly made cocktail listening to a Thai rock band singing all your favourite songs....I spent many a night here, I became good friends with the band and bar staff....

Reggae Bar - Phi Phi island: buckets beware
by mflares
Reggae Bar on Phi Phi the busiest bars on the island. With daily drink promotions which always have the deadly Thai whiskey red bull buckets on offer, this has been the downfall of many a tourist, myself included.Recently installed a HUGE video screen where you can watch all of the latest international sports and music events. Nightly Thai boxing upstairs. The party continues into the early morning with the main dance floor upstairs blasting out all of the latest hits... its a chaotic night that should be sampled at least once.....I had many a excellent night here dancing until the early morning.. i loved it so much I even ended up working there for a month......
ummm nothing specific... generally shorts and flip flops... it does get very hot!
