This colourful fruit and vegetable market can be found opposite where the songthaew's leave for the beaches on Th Ranong.
In Thailand 220 Volts, 50 Hz is standard. The plugs is a 2 pin round fitting although the newer buildings/hotels have an earth plug and maybe 3 pin sockets.
Fast Food- Thai Style
Just sit in your favorite watering hole and in a shorrt while, you will hear a horn being blown and the local food seller will push his cart along and prepare his snacks for the shop and bar workers.
You pay about 20 Baht for a skewer of food, cooked over a charcoal brazier. (Much appreciated by the cats at our hotel )lol.
Elephants are well-revered here in Thailand... Elephant shrines are very common....
