Legend's Sport's Bar is situated in Soi Eden and is Australian owned. It is a very friendly place in a nice setting and has many big screen televisions to watch your favorite live sports.
There is also a pool table and dart board with regular competitions.

The drinks are icy cold and reasonably priced.

Legend's also put on regular barbeques for their customers and the food menu features Thai and European dishes.

Try the Legend's burger, it is huge and even comes with beetroot!!

Busy Bangla Road: Crazy fun if you are young enough!

Bangla Road kind of reminds me of Kings Cross in Sydney .... two totally different places, whether you are there by day or by night! We only walked down Bangla Road once at night, and that was enough for us. This place is full of bars, nightclubs etc so it is perfect for the young, or simply the young at heart. I felt I was getting a little bit too old for this kind of scene though!!!

Bangla Road is closed to traffic during the night so it turns into one busy and crazy mall!!!

Sunshine Bar Rawai Beach: Sunshine Bar Rawai Beach

The Sunshine Bar is a fantastic bar on the beach rd at Rawai. It is very popular for families, singles and groups with many people from around the world calling in for a drink and some good clean fun.

There are many seafood restaurants next to the Sunshine Bar so why not head over for a nice dinner on the beach then some drinks and fun at the Sunshine Bar.

The girls have bongo drums, tambourine's, castanet's, Thai bells and flutes behind the bar and they have a great singing, dancing and musical act that they perform all night.

They also love children and involve them in the musical act and by the end of the evening it is shoulder to shoulder dancing with children and adults.

Join the Pole Climbers Club at the Sunshine Bar and see if you can make it to the top to ring the bell.

This has turned into quite an event, it is not as easy as it looks and there are certainly some interesting techniques.

If you can stop laughing long enough, give it a try and don't forget your camera!

Mit and Wat are two brothers who own Patong Tattoo.

We have been friends with them for many years now and they have recently opened a new bar opposite their shop in Patong Beach.

They are lovely, honest, hard working guys and do everything they can to help support their family including their parents.

They are both also fantastic tattooists, very artistic and skilful, have a look at my link below it will take you to info re their shop Patong Tattoo.

We have no doubt that the boys will turn their new bar called the Tattoo Bar into another successful venture.

Odyssey Bar Phuket Twon: Odyssey Bar Phuket Twon

What a fun place this turned out to be.

The Odyssey Bar is in Phuket Town down a little street called Soi Rommani which runs off Krabi Rd just after Yarowat Rd.

This Soi is one of the oldest in Phuket Town and back in the tin mining days it was mainly a street of little shop front brothels that catered to the miners!

Today those shop fronts are quaint welcoming bars.

We were the only customers there and ordered our drinks. There was no Bacardi on their list so I ordered a Kamikaze cocktail for 180baht.
Well imagine my surprise when they bought out a jug of it with a straw!!
Bargain but could I have a glass with that please.

Gary and Mark ordered small bottles of beer and Mark was a bit disappointed when his arrived with no stubby holder, so he asked could they please get one for him.
Their answer was a classic
"Sorry Sir but we only have one".
So lucky Gary.

They also have a Thai guy singing and playing guitar, he was fantastic with such a beautiful voice and his pronunciation was perfect!

Rockin' Angels is owned by Patrick who is originally from Singapore. He is a very talented musician who plays every night in his small open fronted bar and he is known as the absolute gentleman.

If you love live music then this is definitely the place to go.
Everyone is welcome to get up and sing or grab a guitar and play along.

Check out the walls there is so much music memorabilia.
Drinks are cheap here as well, they make great cocktails and you can order snacks and light meals.
We had such a fantastic night out here, it was a lot of fun and we are looking forward to going back again next trip.

Be careful going up the stairs to the toilets, they are pretty steep. If you think you can see goldfish up there its ok, you have not had to much to drink!!
There really are fish in there!!

Rockin' Angels is a wifi hotspot, very popular with expats, locals and tourists and is located at 54 Yaowarat Rd in Phuket Town.

A small part of Bangla road

You just cannot go to Phuket without visiting BANGLA ROAD.
The night life is unbelievable.
Music from every Bar, entertainment, shopping, girlie-boy watching (dont make eye-contact) they will want you to picture them and then ask a fee.
We took my 82 year old Mom for an eye-opener.
We also did lots of shopping here.

Dress Code: No dress code required. You could go in your bikini, costume and sarong. The heat is unbearable. But you soon forget and just enjoy the atmosphere.

The police close the road off from 6 pm until 6am to allow people to walk freely.
The police station is situated at the top of the road for an easy view of the happenings.

Quokka Bar: Quokka Bar

The Quokka Bar is one of many in Otop markets and is a favourite for Aussies to stop for a drink and cool down after walking through the markets.

Easiest way to describe where the bar is located is to go through the main entrance of the markets which is off Rat-u-Thit Rd, turn left halfway down and you will see the Quokka bar.

The girls here, Elle and Mae are a lot of fun, nice to talk to and do not annoy people at all, unlike some of the other bars in the market area.

Prices are pretty good for drinks as well.

Elvis Show: Elvis Show

Ritchie Newton has spent the last 27 years as an entertainer, the last 10 of them as a very successful Elvis Tribute Artist.

We were lucky to see Ritchie at the Patong Beach Hotel and I must say we were a bit skeptical about going as my sister Angie and I were bought up on Elvis, so why would we want to see someone trying to take him off.

Well, were we surprised. Ritchie is fantastic, he can sing!! His costumes are amazing and he is a lot of fun. To top it off he is also a really nice guy.

We had a great night out singing along (Angie and I were Ritchie’s back up singers) using our swivel sticks as microphones.

So for a nights of laughs and fun catch Ritchie’s show at the Patong Beach Hotel and the Holiday Inn on beach road, (plus other various locations around Thailand).

Ritchie has recently signed new contracts with the Patong Beach Hotel and Holiday Inn Resort in Phuket. Check out where and when Ritchie is playing on his website below.

Ritchie Newton Website

We highly recommend the Ritchie Newton show, it’s free and suitable for all age groups and is a great way to spend the evening.

Ratri Jazztaurant: Jazz Music

I have revisited the Ratri Jazztaurant and this is the updated review.

The Ratri Jazztaurant is definitely one of the best places to enjoy an evening on the whole island. The views over Kata are impressive, as is the design and decor of the place. The live jazz really tops it all off. The band is fantastic.

Great for a romantic evening or for fun with friends, I'm sure that once you've visited, you'll return.

The food is more expensive than average, but is still reasonably priced and varies between quite good and very good. Service has improved, but still needs work.

My advice is not to sit near the toilets when dining downstairs, as you will get a slight waft from the toilets each time they're flushed. We usually eat upstairs, unless we're ordering a substantial meal.
