  • Freedom beach! This is a small beach with tremendous snorkling. To get there you have to go by bout, but you won`t regret it.

  • Hire a Jeep or even a motorbike if you know how to ride one. Phuket outside Patong is great. Phuket town has some great old buildings although the traffic can be horrible at rush hour. Go to the remaining bits of rainforest that haven't been bulldozed into golf courses.

    Lovely, lovely beaches. No jellyfish stings but some fishes do bite or nibble, shall I say. Don't forget your sun bloke. Enjoy the sun but play safe.

    One good way to find new friends in Phuket is to get away from the town center and head out into the country and stop and talk to people, I found that along the roads near the beach the local fisherman where allways ready to stop and talk, even if they don't talk english, its still good fun. People there are a lot more friendly then back home and where allways ready to explain to you what it is they where making or doing, so get away from town and meet some locals

    Waiting for a flight and don`t wanna sit in a building? Than visit beach just near the airport (10minute walk) and relax since there is very little tourist people walking around. Actually for this place we could say it has a lack of tourism. But I was glad to find this place since I enjoyed here all day long ...
