Tunk-Ka Cafe is situated at the top of Rang Hill not far from the centre of Phuket Town.
Just follow the shady staircase made of old railway sleepers down to the restaurant and you will soon see why it is so popular.
The views are amazing out over the city to the ocean during the day and at night the lights of the city look so pretty.
If your lucky you may even see monkeys at the top of Rang Hill but take notice of the warning signs – they bite!.
Prices are very reasonable at Tunk-Ka Cafe and the restaurant is very popular with locals, expats and tourists.
The menu features Thai dishes, local Phuket dishes, Seafood and a small selection of sandwiches.
Some of the meals we have had here are Deep Fried Local Vegetables with various dipping sauces 90baht, Deep Fried Pork 120baht, Squid with garlic and pepper 120baht and Chicken with cashew nuts 120baht.
It seems wherever we go Gary has to try the squid dishes, he really enjoyed the squid dish at Tunk-Ka Cafe and has rated it as nearly up there with the best he has had.
If you are a coffee lover than you must try the Tunk-Ka Iced coffee, it is huge, delicious, icy cold and will cost you 60baht.
We have lost count of the amount of times we have been to Tunk Ka Cafe over the years, it is a favourite and we highly recommend you visit this beautiful restaurant.

We had many lunches at Wine Connection in Central Festival shopping centre. The food, service and prices are excellent.
The salads are perfect especially the Tuna (140baht) or Caeser Salads (160baht). A complimentary basket of different breads comes with every meal.
Would definitely recommend having a meal here.

We had quite a few lunches at Wine Connection in Jungceylon shopping centre, I was quite surprised at the prices as expected their prices to be expensive which they were not. The meals we have had there have been delicious.
Service is quick & always with a smile.
Their Chicken Caesar Salad is the best in Phuket and the Lamb Shank was superb. A complimentary basket of different breads comes with every meal.
Will definitely recommend having a meal here.

We have been to Kan Eang 2 many times now and it has never disappointed. The setting is lovely, right by the water and a good place for children as well to run around & play.
The food is amazing, very fresh and tasty with excellent prices. An example of one dinner here was shrimp spring rolls (delicious & very different), fish cakes, prawns in spicy sauce, crab fried rice, cuttlefish in garlic n pepper, black bean & coconut slices in coconut milk plus 2 large Singha and 2 Bacardi & cokes – all for 1000baht.
There was way too much food for 2 people! This place is huge with plenty of little seating areas, there is also entertainment which is very good, and our friend Kom is one of the singers, fantastic voice!
We highly recommend Kan Eang 2 for lunch or dinner.

We went to Kan Eang @ Pier a couple of times during our last holiday, once again the restaurant is in a lovely setting, the food is delicious and prices are excellent.
They have quite a few signature dishes one being the Stir fry Cuttlefish 150baht - it was delicious & so tender, melt in your mouth!!!
My favorite would have to be the Marinated Pork Kan Eang Style - 160baht - another signature dish & it is the best pork dish I have tasted!
Actually every dish we have had here has been amazing. Most definitely worth a visit!

Number 9 restaurant would have to be up there among our favorite restaurants. We have enjoyed every meal we have had there, prices are great for food and drinks plus the staff are wonderful.
The restaurant is on Phra Barami Road opposite the Patong Paragon Hotel.
If your walking there from Rat-u-Thit Road keep walking north to the end of the road then turn left towards the beach, No. 9 is halfway down on your left.
Try their crepes and ice-cream, its delicious, the crepe is wrapped like a bow with ice-cream in the middle and lashings of chocolate sauce and whipped cream, all for 100 baht!
Thai meals range from 100 - 125baht, a beer will cost you 70baht and a spirits and mix 90baht.
There is also a good selection of European and Western meals.

Salaloy restaurant on the beach road at Rawai is another favorite of ours. The kitchen is on one side of the road and seating is on the beach side. It can be fun watching the waiters dodge traffic while carrying trays of food.
It is quite a popular place and can be very busy with Thai families at night and on weekends.
There is nothing better than sitting outside at Salaloy enjoying a delicious meal and watching the longtail boats come and go.
The menu is extensive and each item has a photo of the meal, prices are very cheap as well. My lunch of Trevally with spicy mango salad was in one word - delicious and was only 220baht! It was the perfect salad to have with the very tasty fish. The deep fried pork was 100baht and mouth watering.
The only dish I did not really enjoy was the deep fried cuttlefish, also 100baht, it was a bit tough.
Drinks are very cheap at Salaloy and you can also bring along your own wine and spirits.
If you are in the area then we highly recommend a visit to Salaloy Seafood Restaurant.

Delish is an Australian owned Café on the way to Rawai, we have had lunch here a few times as after so long in Phuket we were just craving a good toasted sandwich.
Delish did not disappoint. Service can be a bit on the slow side sometimes but the quality of the food makes up for it, as do the delicious homemade cakes on offer.
Prices are on par for western food in Phuket. We hear they have a good breakfast so will try that next visit.
If you are out this way then Delish is worth a stop even if it's just for a nice icy cold milkshake.

What a fantastic place Rick n Rolls is. We have been there a couple of times now & had such a good time (along with very late nights!) The place is comfortable, relaxing, entertaining & so much fun. Drinks are reasonably priced & the food is good as well. Especially those huge delicious burgers.
Ricky is the perfect host & everyone is made to feel welcome. Fancy a sing-along, it doesn’t matter how good (or bad) you are, this is the place to do it. The Cafe (and toilets) are immaculate! They also make a mean cocktail, check out Rick n Rolls website for upcoming event & specials. We highly recommend a night here and cannot wait to go back.

Sabai Beach Restaurant has been a favorite of ours for many years now. It is one of the original Patong beachfront restaurants and every year it just keeps on getting better.
The food is fresh, delicious & very cheap. Their drink menu is also very well priced and a lot cheaper than the majority of restaurants. The staff are fantastic, very friendly & helpful, they will always remember you and even what you normally would order!
We have never had a meal here that we did not enjoy, breakfast, lunch or dinner the food is fantastic. The restaurant is in a prime location on the beach, where else can you sit with your feet in the sand & enjoy good food.
If you head north along the beach about 5 minutes walk past Bangla Rd there are 4 restaurants in a row along the beach front, Sabai is in the middle.
