Brett wanted to try parasailing so off we went to Patong beach.
The price was 700 baht, so once this was paid Brett was trussed up like a chicken in the safety harness and attached to the parachute.
Then the guys told him there was not enough wind so he would not have the little guy with him who steers and they would also have to land him in the ocean as the tide was in.
They explained to him how to take off.
Keep Running Towards Water As Boat Takes Off.
Brett is running for his life, he hits the water face first and has now turned into a human body board, bouncing across the waves.
Finally after body surfing face first for about 20 feet we have lift off.
It was not a good experience and no way would I attempt it.

Do you want to have magnificent bird's eye view of Patong Beach? Then try the famous activity of the island, Parasailing
A harness on your tighs plus additional support on your shoulders and you will be up up and away.
Ive also tried this activity in the Philippines and the service and safety is way too far from the service and safety that they provide here in Phuket.
As per our experienced in Phuket, they just let us run from the beach as you take off and land. There is no pre cautionary measures being done. Breaking your legs and hitting the ground are of great possibilty.
You can find alot free lance operators of this activity along Patong beach. Just pick the one who offer a good price, longer time and SAFE.
Price Ranges from 2,00THB to 2,500THB for 10 minutes.
