I booked through Nice tour travel agency (the tour desk is in front of Patong beach). We decided to go with Siam Sea Canoe package (2500 BHT for 2 person).
What can I say... Unforgettable moment. for everyone who came to phuket without experiencing trip to Phi Phi Island, you're wasting your time and please go again and this time make sure phi phi is in your list.

I love the clear water beaches and so it was must for me to go to Phi Phi Ley Island tour and we booked this tour through a travel desk on soi holiday inn near beach road....
This tour was for the whole day and they pick us from hotel at 8am and bring us to the peir i think the name was Siray Island (not sure about name) then we been on to speed boat and move on to see Khai Nok Island, Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Ley....
On Phi Phi Lay Island we been to see the Viking Cave, Pileh Lagoon, Loh Samah Bay, Maya Bay. We enjoyed alot by different activities swiming, snoorking, beach volley ball, fruit eating, enjoy sun, relaxing on the beach.....

I think one of the highlights of our visit to Phuket was Phi Phi Island. The sand was so white, the water so blue. I was amazed that you could stand ankle deep in water with a piece of bread and feed all the beautiful tropical fish. This spot was pure class.
One little warning though...If you intend on taking a day trip to the Island, dont forget your sea sick tablets (if your that way inclined). Its refreshing to see a place live up to its hype. Phi Phi is beautiful beyond words. You actually get to see the kind of place that the magicians in hollywood have been trying to conjure in the movies.
Yes, it is commericalized, and full of tourist, but that does not taint the unbelieveably blue waters and rugged peaks soaring up from the waters edge. Leave a Comment

List price is shown as 1800 Baht but eveywhere in Phuket is offering 50% discount on Phi Phi trips, presumably due to the rainy season.
We opted for the VIP package as this let us use the undersea aquarium in Phi Phi.
We were collected from our hotel at 07.15 by minibus and taken to Rassada Harbour and we left there at 08.30. The trip lasted about 1.30hrs and included soft drinks, tea, coffee, fresh fruit, lunch on Phi Phi and snorkelling equipment.
We sailed to Maya Bay, had lunch on Phi Phi Don, then taken by a smaller boat to Coral Bay for snorkelling and the underwater aquarium. This was great fun and the guys there even give you bread for the fish. Leave a Comment

Local travel agents at Phuket (and they are numerous and generally reliable) offer, among various other pacakges, a day-long coverage by high speed boats of various islands surrounding Phuket. Rest assured that this will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Its pointless to elaborate...the pictures appended should provide a flavour!

Most people go island hopping when they are in phuket.
I went to Coral island years back and was in Phi Phi in March so I did not go any this time round.
Do shop around for good deals

Not one Phuket trip is complete without visiting this outlying islands. it has beautiful beaches and creatures. Note : Do bring lots of Sun Block Lotion and After Sun Lotion. Leave a Comment

One thing you must do when in Phuket is to visit the Phi Phi Islands (even better go to stay there for a while). The main islands are Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Ley. See my separate page for these islands. Leave a Comment
