On our second day at phuket we booked on the phuket fantasea show - It offers two types of packages- 1 with dinner 2 without dinner with dinner is a bit expensive - We chose the with dinner option and arrived early At the booking counter, we were asked which country we are from - and in the dinning room we were given the seat accordingly. We are from pakistan , so we were given a kosher section The food was good - The hall was was huge - It must be serving more than 2000 people at that time. After the dinner we had some time to look around the atmosphere was carnival like - with games , shows , and other eateries. The show was excellent - showing the cultural thailand - magic show and acrobat show - It was surely money worth

The name says it all!

Phuket Fantasea will give you a night to remember when you visit here. You can take the dinner and show package or just see the show. The dinner and show package is quite nice as you sit down for a buffet before the show. This place is a night time theme park. Full of things to see at every turn. Get there early so you can enjoy it all. The cultural stage show after dinner is fantastic. The is a finale with 17 elephants on stage at once!

The evening begins with a lavish all you can eat buffet followed by free time for,sideshows, elephant rides, shopping and looking around. After dinner you will be ushered into the "Temple of the elephants" for a award winning Las Vegas style show featuring over 30 elephants, aerial ballet and acrobatics. The Thai costumes and sets are great and the display of historical and cultural themes throughout the show will keep everyone entertained for sure.

This is a "must" for every first-time visitor to Phuket Island. It is simply a superb and amazing cultural theme park! You won't regret it. :-) As this is a very popular holiday destination in Phuket Island, I'd suggest you make advance online reservation before heading to Phuket. No payment/deposit is needed for the booking. You will only need to pay (by cash or major credit cards) when you go to collect your ticket. We had normal seats and the ticket costs THB1,600 per adult (THB1,200 per child) for show and buffet. I know it's expensive for some of us, but believe me, it's worth it! :-)

This show is a great way to see some of the folklore of Thailand. The performances and choreography are great. The elephants and other animals involved were charming. Even the grounds are very interesting to explore. There are lots of souvenirs for sale and food from carts and stalls, etc (skip the buffet). There are short performances on a small stage and around the grounds before and after the show as well. The cost is 1100 baht for adults and 800 for children. The park opens from 5:30 - 11:30pm and the show is from 9 - 10:15pm.

	Phuket Fantasea: Highly Worthwhile Show

This show is highly worthwhile. Though I had not originally planned to go, this show ended up in my top-5 favorite memories of my 2006 month-long tour of the Far East. Integrates traditional Thai art forms into a highly modern and thoroughly entertaining theatrical production. All aspects of the performance were of highest caliber, on par (and clearly influenced by) modern Las Vegas shows. Suitable for all ages. The entire show is bilingual - both English and Thai. Capable of holding the attention of even very young family members (my 2.5 year-old loved it!) Revenue from the show has been used to establish a small entertainment and shopping park around the theater - a work that is definitely still in progress. The park is not yet an attraction that would stand on its own, but offers some nice diversions before and after the show. Be aware that rides and games in the park are charged separately from your admission ticket. I did not try the buffet restaurant.

This was a suprise for us!!! It's really a very good show and you MUST go to see it!!! It's a show with animals and people with special skills!!! The area around the show it's nice for a walk, to eat or just to have fun!! There was a guy who could do amazing tricks with a bottle, but i don't know if he is always there!!!He was GREAT!!!! Do NOT miss it!!!
