Phuket Things to Do

  • Phi Phi Islands

    4 out of 5 stars

We traveld with HongTae Tours from Patong Beach. They picked us up at the hotell at least 40 minutes late, and we left with the boat also to late... The boat trip itself, was not good! To many people on the boat, its a long trip and you dont see anything unless you sit in front of the boat. Of course there are differetn boats, but most of them...

  • James Bond Island

    4 out of 5 stars

Sometimes movies change the landscape to produce an illusion; some other times they use it exactly as it is, because there’s no need to add or change anything. That’s what happened with this island in James Bond film. Only building some paths and a small harbor, changing the angles, they created in the film the sensation of a world that… it’s not...

  • Caffe Nero by Black Canyon

There are so many little cafes and restaurants in Jungceylon Shopping Center, so it is very handy if you are in the area for a break from shopping and some snacks. The only reason we go to Caffé Nero at Black Canyon is for their delicious shakes and frappes and of course the spicy Issan sausages. Prices are reasonable, we paid 770baht for 4 plates...

We went into this show a bit dubious .... I mean after all it is essentially a lady/boy dress-up miming show, so you really cant have any high expectations! Top 10 Coastal Drives: Phuket

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

While the majority of the resorts on Phuket are centered on the south and western shores, a few VirtualTourist members suggested driving along the Northeast loop to get a "behind the scenes" view of island life. By turning off Route 402 at the Heroines Monument circle, drivers head on a 6.8 mile (11 km) loop on the far Northeast tip of the island. The loop provides the opportunity to see excellent bay views and small fishing villages, a nice change of pace from the busy beach resorts on the opposite side of the Thai island.
