I always like to eat something sweet after a meal, and I look forward to have Thai Coconut Ice Cream, taste like so gooood with peanuts, sweet potatoes, jelly, attap seeds, sticky rice and small pieces of bread. I think I can have two cups of this ice cream and get diabetic!! Its just for 20baht a cup.

  • Regency Hotel Coffee House & Restaurant

    Hat Yai Restaurants

Even though I love Thai food there are times (especially in the morning) when my stomach just wants some bread, eggs and more familiar food. This coffee house and restaurant does good breakfasts, sandwiches and coffee. It is part of an upmarket hotel so very clean and the service is impeccable. The tables are dressed in clean, white linen. The...

  • Kentucky Fried Chicken

    Hat Yai Restaurants

I don't believe I am writing this. Back home I only eat at fast food places in extremely desperate times. So why suggest a western fast food joint in Thailand when there is excellent, cheap, freshly-cooked local food everywhere? Having a western stomach I get cravings for western food occasionally even though I really enjoy the Thai food that I...

  • Hong Kong Suki

    Hat Yai Restaurants

This is an interesting concept. You order food and it all comes to the table uncooked. On the table is an electrically heated pot of boiling water into which the food is put to cook. The restaurant kindly supply plates, chopsticks and some dipping sauce. I wasn't that keen on it. Years ago I worked in the US and there was another Brit guy there...

  • Sandy Beach Bar and Restaurant Khanom

Sandy Beach Bar and Restaurant is next door to Talkoo Beach Resort Khanom. We were staying at this hotel and about 4.30pm we started to hear very loud thumping Thai music coming from either our hotel or the Sandy Beach Bar. Then the truck loads of Thai families started arriving. Oh well it is not going to be a quiet night so we may as well join...

  • Supar Royal Restaurant

This restaurant is part of the Supar Royal Beach Resort Nai Plau Beach at Khanom. The night we decided to go here it was absolutely packed with Thai people that were here for a conference. Lucky for us there was one table left. What a funny night, just us and maybe 100 Thai's having fun with speeches, karaoke, prize giving and dancing. We both...

  • Lantalea Restaurant

Lantalea Restaurant is part of the Khanom Sunrise resort on Nai Plao beach Khanom. The food here is basic but delicious and very cheap as is the alcohol. There is nothing better than sitting here on the beach front enjoying a simple dinner and drinks. Fantastic little restaurant and very popular with the Thai’s.

  • CC Beach Bar & Restaurant - Khanom

CC Beach Bar and Restaurant was the very first beach bar in Khanom and it is in a beautiful location on the central section of Khanom Bay called Nadan beach. We went here quite a few times during our stay in Khanom and it is a fantastic place for meals and drinks. You can sit on the beach enjoying the views or undercover in the bar or restaurant....

  • Top 5 Seafood Restaurants in Phuket

Nickys Handlebar is a bikers themed bar & restaurant (plus hotel) with scrumptious food at very reasonable prices. Nicky himself is a very likeable and congenial chap and the whole atmosphere is fantastic. He also rents and does motorcycle tours (all Harley Davidsons) and will also pick you up at the airport in his Lamborghini if you are staying in...

  • Great family restaurant

My best regards to this restaurant - great food and nice people. We were there 5 times. It is like a rainforest where you can sit ouitside near waterfalls and Dinosaurs. There is a great minigolf where you on your way get throw a lot of spectacular lanes and meet a lot of Dinosaurs. There is also a vulcano which wake up and give you a lot of noise...

  • More Seafood

Everynight we had fun deciding on which restaurant to pick . We along with lots of other tourists would cruise up and down the village looking at the menus. You can't miss the Karon Seafood Restaurant . It's right on the main street in Karon Village. They have a display of fresh seafood on ice in front of the restuarant . We had the King Shrimp...

  • Local fare

There is a whole food court sort of place , right across from Karon Beach . The food is really good . It's a good spot to sit out of the sun and take a break . The beer is always cold too. The restaurants owners do there best to entice you to there place ( sometimes only two tabes) .We had lots of lunches there...we tried a bunch of different...

  • Banana Pancakes to die for!

We stayed at Rapala beach, in a place run by a family. They had their house there, and a few small huts, or one room shacks, mostly clean. And for their restaurant, it was a shelter situated, just yards from the beach. You could use this at any time, they had a TV set up here for those who liked to watch. The food was fantastic, but I thought...

You can find this Restaurant at the main road that goes into the Khao Sok Ntl Park. Right before the bridge over the River Sok on the right side. The setting is a green garden with many plants and flowers. • Food Stalls

You can pretty much eat at most the vendors without to much worry. Most are busy which should give you fresh food.In Krabi down by the pier several families have booths set up at night fall. They all have their own speciality, so try a little of everything. At the night market you get a real flavour of southern Thailand and the food can be very...

  • Our favourite place

This restaurant was right in town, we ate here most nights.. I think it was called veggies, or maybe we just called it that because it had a huge vegetarian choice..Right in town not far from the V Shop and opposite Harmony Tours... the food is delicious and never really that expensive and the staff were really friendly.. too many to choose...

Situated on the south west of Ko Tao (far away from noisy Lamai and Chaweng beach)you can have the most delicious breakfast or, like me, the most romantic dinner right on the beach. Extremely friendly, they even give you board games while you wait for your food.I will never forget it. Grilled fish.
