Took a day trip with my wife, son and daughter from Langkawi, Malaysia, to Satun, found this great noodle restaurant.

They have a large selection of noodles with many different flavours. They also have a few rice dishes and stir fry dishes. We each tried something different and everything was just outstanding considering each dish was only 40 or 50baht.

The kids loved there ice cream menu, a real great selection, banana split, pancakes, jelly, and sundaes and about 10 flavours of ice cream to choose from, again cheap, 50baht for a big pancake and 2 scoops of ice cream.

If you don't like crowded restaurants probably best to avoid lunchtime (12 untl 2pm) The restaurant had about 15 tables and they were packed full of customers, which were all local people. The restaurant was exceptional clean. We sat outside and had a great view of the nature on riverbank. A great ambience.

Favorite Dish: I tried the seafood noodles with pink Yen-tafo soup, which apparently is a very famous Thai dish, very delicious. A mixture of sour, spicy, savoury, little bit sweet. Very mourish. Delicious. Filling but did manage to make room for icecream.... YUMMY!! A lot for only 40baht.

Time Restaurant: Good food in a nice restaurant

by aqazi Written Sep 8, 2004

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

This restaurant has airconditioning and as you might guess it also has a "time" theme. The restaurant actually fees quite european in style. Prices are high though the food is quite good.

There isn't a whole lot to do in Satun so we ate slowly and savoured our time here. They serve alcohol too as I remember which I don't think is very common in this town.
