State shops or Talchouka Bazzaar: textiles textiles textiles
If you go in a state shop, they will write a receipt for less than paid if you ask. The bazaar has a bigger and better selection, but no reciept... Dilema! When leaving the airport teh customs people can make you apy tax on things taken out and can assess that tax at their will, if you have a reciept they can only rip you off for that amount! As, from what I saw the TAX goes into their pocket ASAP. However, usually giving $20 to the officer allows you to pass thru with anything at no other costs. The textiles are cheap enough that they are still well worth the buy! Rugs, wall hangings, bags, jackets and jewelry You pay about !50 for a full room size and woven woollen rug!!! YES IT IS TRUWE of the finest quality, Jewelry etc... all are $1 a piece or so!! AMAZING! BARGAIN WITH ALL IT IS EXPECTED!
