Labi-Hauz by night-Bukhara: Labi-Hauz by night-Bukhara

by johnsakura

Labi-hauz is a square or plaza built around a pool back in 1620, and its name actually come after what the name stands in Tajik language: aroud the pool. This old pool is surounded by benches, mulberry trees and nice typical restaurants where along with typical food makes the perfect spot for a night walk. This is also a great place to interact with local children who seel handicraft on the streets. On the east side of the pool there is a staute of Hoja Nasruddin very well known in Sufi teaching tales around the world. Also near this square you have Nadir Divanbegi Medressa, Nadir Divanbegi Khanaka and Kukeldash Medressa. South of Labi-Hauz is located the Jewish quarter.

Bukhara is quite safe and calm for you to go for a wide walk around the city and enjoy the nice and huge Silk Road monuments by night. Some of them are actually nor iluminated but you'll be able to see them on a glance of light, ransmiting a very powerful and consistent magic.

Just hanging out having tea...

by catdockev

Just hanging out having tea across from a holy site. This was one of many Muslim pilgrimage sites to be seen in the area. The tomb of Al-Bos. The cities do have discos and a fun nightlife. There are still russian mafia types around so be careful.
