    Shipwreck in Moynac

Yoy may think I'm crazy: spending two days on dirty local buses to arrive in an agressive town where there's only one hotel and no restaurant.
Maybe, but it was worth the effort. The shipwrecks in Moynac are an unforgettable sight sight. What was once a lake is now a sandy desert where some rusty shipwrecks are remainders of a prosperous past.
    Symbols for lost glory.

Moynac looks to be the end of the world
We didn't find anything to eat on our one hour walk.
In the end, we went back to the hotel and begged him to cook us something.
He made us some good plov which we had to eat in the dity garage on a not very stable table.
At 1500 sum for the meal, it was quite expensive but there seem to be no other options

    My friend and his Stroganoff

The beer before dinner was very good at only 600 sum per bottle.
They have menus in Russian and in English but the trouble is that our waitress didn't read or speak English.
Comparing the two menus, we ordered Boeuf Stroganoff (fries included for 900 sum - a little more than US 1 $). It was very good.
Other dishes were around the same price.
The other people who came to eat or drink there look like Russian mafia....

From the Nukus Bus Station (some kilometers outside the city centre - get there by taxi) you can take the bus to Samarkand
It's something of 10-11 hours to Buchara where you arrive in the middle of the night.
