The first day, when I arrived, on the way from the Hanoi airport, to Hanoi city, the driver tried to convince me to try dog meat, one of their specialites.He really could not understand why I did not want to try, and to tell the truth I do not know either, it's just for the idea of dog as a family member I grew up with.The driver explained to me that they do not kill and eat dogs on the street, they have dogs farms, where they grow up and feed dogs just as we are used to do with lambs.Infact they cannot understand how we can be so cruel to kill those small white sweet animals.I can understand perfectly his reasons and I sure do not criticise theyr food, it is just that I could not eat dog, I would probably have appreciated if someone gave me dog's meet without telling me though.
